Hi Everyone. We are in the process of preparing for our new outdoor event season. This will, of course, include our Wellness Cooking Classes, Garden Fitness Groups and Summer Holiday Community Cookouts. However, this year we are adding something very different.
An elegant Garden Party for those of you who are missing your mothers. We will host it the day before Mother's Day. The focus will be on joy and new friendships.
We will have a time of music, games, food and friendship. No one should spend the Mother's Day holiday alone and in grief. We can't control the latter, but the first... we can do something about that.
Right now we are planning the new gardens for the year (and getting the winter wind trash cleaned up that has blown around over the past few months). If you would like to join us in that process, let us know and you can even plant a flower patch in honor of your mother right here at The Haven Family Center.
