aret Winchell, Mabele Titel, Minnie Nacy. Throughout the years, the AuxIliary has worked with the Post on many community projects, and charity fund drives. In 1951 the Post purchased its present building from Sam Dosch. The building was a country Schoolhouse, that had been moved to town. Two adjoining lots, were purchased from Kenneth Route in 1958. A mortgage burning party, was held in June 1956, at North Park.
1964 was a year of much progress. The post was able to obtain city sewer and water services, thus enabling it to install indoor restroom facilities. In 1972, and addition was constructed for a new kitchen and dining hall and restrooms, (currently the kitchen and restrooms are located in the basement). since 1986 an addition with enclosed ramp has been added to the facility, including an upstairs bathroom. Meetings are held every second Monday of the month, at the Post. Currently the Post, with AuxIliary assistance, has BINGO every Thursday evening, the Canteen opens 4:00pm--??? with Bingo starting at 6:30pm. the Canteen is open Friday evenings 4:00--???
