The Procrastinator’s Holiday Market needs YOU! We’re looking for jolly individuals to embody the spirit of Santa and spread cheer to our market-goers. SHHHH! Don’t tell the kids. Imagine yourself in a cool sleigh, a twinkle in your eye, welcoming guests to to share their holiday wishes.

On December 6th, shop from 30+ local artisans in the gift vendor village, take a holiday train ride around the Capitol Columns, and enjoy free family-friendly activities! There will also be plenty of hot chocolate and caroling to ring in the holiday season. This event will take place near the National Arboretum’s Visitor Center.

The Winter Festival is hosted by Friends of the National Arboretum in partnership with DC Squared and DC Child Care Connections . This event kicks off DC Squared’s Its a Wonderful Ward series in Northeast D.C. during the month of December.

The season of thoughtful giving is here. 💛 This December, DC Squared is transforming our 11th annual Procrastinator’s Holiday Market into It’s a Wonderful Ward, a full month of joyful, local celebrations across Ward 5.

Start with Small Business Saturday on Nov 29 and Giving Tuesday on Dec 2, then join us at the Winter Festival and Tree Sale in partnership with the U.S. National Arboretum🌲 on Dec 6 and at Kraken Kourts & Skates on Dec 20 for our expanded Procrastinator’s Holiday Market. Plus, RIAMS and UBRMS will host workshops, pop-up markets, swaps, and free activities all month long. 🎁

The closeout for Woodridge Market takes place on Saturday, September 27 between 12-3p at 1803 Rhode Island Ave NE! The Nourish & Flourish block party will feature local talent, familiar vendors and cooking demos

On Friday, Sept 12, both Rhode Island Ave Main Street (RIAMS) and Upper Bladensburg Rd Main Street (UBRMS) will transform into creative playgrounds! This year’s overall theme is: The Art of Us, with sub themes for each corridor and venue. 🎶🎨🍴💃
From live artists, acro yoga, cooking demos, soulful vocals & family friendly fun on RIAMS ➡️ to Go-Go, dance lessons, a fragrance bar, a spectacular lion dance + unique craft stations on UBRMS, the night is packed with art, music, and discovery for all ages!
