It makes no sense for a model city like Washington, DC—our nation’s capital—not to ensure that its youngest citizens have access to high-quality early learning experiences led by highly qualified, competent, and well-compensated educators. The early education sector in DC deserves intentional and sustained public investment. Without strong early childhood education programs, DC’s economy and future workforce are weaker. We must stand together to support DC Early Childhood Education.
