Hello Church !

Thank You, God, for allowing us to be part of SGB

When we are first told that we would be coming to SGB,
There are two things we concerned. One things is we are foreigner, how to mingle with church members. We were used to ministry with Korean.

But all church members welcomed to us very heartfully and every time giving warm and kind words . That makes us encourage .
God is right all the time. God is good. We appreciated to meet God’s people at SGB

Second thing we were worried,

“How is Eunyoung going to drive all the way to Washington, D.C.?” She was honestly very nervous because, even though she had lived in Virginia for seven years, she had never driven to Washington by herself.

But God prepared us first. Looking back, we can see that God was already preparing the way for our family.

During these past six months, we have had so many valuable experiences. We would like to sincerely thank Major Lester and Major Ferguson for teaching us, guiding us, and always caring for us. We especially appreciated Major Lester’s powerful messages. The message of God encouraged and challenged us in each of ours faith. We also learned so much from Major Beverley. She always serves with creativity, passion, and excellence, and her example has inspired us.

To every member of SGB Church, thank you so much. Each one of you encouraged us with kind words and showed us so much love. Because of your kindness, our family truly felt welcomed and cared for.

To all of our wonderful children, thank you. Every one of you is precious, kind, and special. I truly enjoyed spending time with you all.
Because of you, my daughter, Tia, looked forward to coming to church every week and was able to adjust so well to this new environment.

These six months have gone by so quickly. Looking back, we truly believe that God sending our family to SGB was a great blessing.

Thank you again to everyone at SGB Church for your love, prayers, and support.

Until we meet again, may God bless each of you with good health, joy, and His abundant peace.

Thank you so much.

Wednesday Women’s Ministry

We have been so blessed to spend the past six months with the wonderful women of SGB. Throughout this time, God has faithfully provided both food for our bodies and nourishment for our souls. These women are true prayer warriors and faithful pillars of our church.

We shared delicious meals, joyful laughter, and meaningful conversations together.

We thank God for bringing us together as one family in Christ and for the beautiful friendships He has given us.

Our Last Adventure Club Outing of the First Half of 2026! 🌈

Today, we traveled from Washington, D.C. to Manassas and had an amazing time together.
We skated as fast as we could, helped friends who fell, pulled each other along, and encouraged one another every step of the way.
After all the fun, we enjoyed a delicious meal to fill our hungry stomachs.
As we were leaving, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky, as if it was welcoming us.
We are thankful to God for giving us such a wonderful day filled with joy, friendship, and His blessings

[Unfailing love]
“God is always waiting for us, standing with open arms to welcome those who turn back to Him after going the wrong way”

1 Corinthians 13 :7-8

7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres?
8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

May 13, 2026. Women’s Ministry

1. Today at Women’s Ministry, we spent a beautiful time creating clay flower frame art with our hands and hearts.

Each flower was different, just like each woman God created so uniquely and beautifully. As we shaped every petal, we were reminded that God is the One who lovingly shapes our lives too.

2. In celebration of National Salvation Army Week , we stepped out into the community to share more than just bright red, delicious apples. 🍎
With every apple we handed out, we hoped to share a little kindness, encouragement, and the love of God with the people around us.

“Heart to God, Hand to Man.”
Today was a sweet reminder that when God’s love fills our hearts, it naturally flows
