Community College Preparatory Academy CC Prep students will enjoy a flexible schedule and lots of small group interaction.

The Community College Preparatory Academy (CC Prep) is an Adult Charter School offering free academic and vocational training to DC residents ages 18 and older. CC Prep is designed to support adult learners in developing the skills and knowledge they need for successful college entry and entry level employment in our knowledge based economy. Experienced teachers will work with these adult learners

to create individual learning plans and students will have the opportunity to learn how to “learn on- line” in a supportive lab environment where instruction is tailored to individual needs and pace. At CC Prep we are committed to the supporting our students to become lifelong learners. CC Prep will provide the assessment and counseling support adults need to make sound educational decisions that are directly tied to sound educational and job development needs and your vision for your future.

CC Prep will operate under the following schedule from Wednesday, Feb. 4 through Friday, Feb. 6, 2026:

✅ All classes will be held virtually for students and faculty
✅ Administrative & Operations offices will be open 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
❌ No evening activities will take place

2025 was a year of growth, grit, and real results at CC Prep. 🧡💙

Because of the dedication of our students, staff, and community, here’s what we achieved together:

📚 639 students enrolled
🏅 823 certifications earned
📝 18 GED subject tests passed
⏰ 66,879.5 instructional hours delivered
📖 225 students improved their reading scores
➗ 250 students improved their math scores

These numbers tell a powerful story — one of perseverance, second chances, and new beginnings. As we step into 2026, we’re ready to keep building pathways to opportunity for every adult learner who walks through our doors.
