Momma Bell can pull off just about any look, but what makes this girl truly iconic is the heart underneath it all.

She’s been through more than any dog should have to endure. After being hit by a car while pregnant and tragically losing her babies, Momma Bell still chose to keep smiling. She still loves her people, gets excited for adventures, plays with her toys, and lives every day with that big, goofy personality we love so much. 🥹❤️

Now, this leading lady is ready for the one thing her wardrobe is missing: a home of her own. 🏡

🐾 Temporary/Vacation Fostering: Give one of our dogs a place to stay while their regular foster travels. It could be a weekend, a few days or a week, short-term help can make a HUGE difference!

🐕 Handle a dog at an adoption event: Spend a couple of hours showing off one of our adoptable pups, answering questions and helping them meet potential families. (Dog cuddles included 😉)

🚗 Be a Doggy Uber: Sometimes our pups need rides to events, foster homes, vet appointments or other destinations. A car ride can be one of the easiest ways to lend a paw!

🎪 Help at events: Not every volunteer job involves holding a leash! Help us set up, break down, talk with visitors, collect donations and keep events running smoothly.

📱 Share our posts: It costs nothing and takes seconds. Every share puts our dogs in front of new people — including potential fosters and adopters.

There is no such thing as being able to help “only a little.” ❤️

💔 2 YEARS IN FOSTER CARE. Can anyone look past Bailey’s shyness and see the wonderful dog underneath?

For two years, Bailey has watched other dogs come and go. She’s watched them find their people while she continues waiting for someone willing to see beyond the scared girl they meet at first.

Bailey is about 3½ years old and possibly a Rottweiler/Great Pyrenees mix. She spent much of her first year living outside with very little human interaction, and those early experiences shaped her. New people are scary. New places are scary. Trust takes time.

But scared isn’t all Bailey is 🤎

Underneath that shyness is a sweet, quirky girl who loves her people deeply. She loves her dog friends, knows her routines, enjoys affection once she trusts you, and is perfectly content being a homebody. Give her a fenced yard, a canine best friend, her favorite humans and maybe some peanut butter, and Bailey is one happy girl 🥰

She doesn’t need someone who wants to change her into a social butterfly. She needs someone who can love the dog she already is while continuing to help her build confidence at her own pace.

🚨 COURTESY SHARE: TWO DOGS, TWO CHANCES AT A NEW BEGINNING ❤️ 🚨

Priya & Parker need somewhere to go by September 20th, and we’re hoping the power of sharing can help get their faces in front of the right people. 🙏

Please note: Priya and Parker are NOT Rhode Home Rescue dogs. We are sharing them as a courtesy because their situation is time-sensitive.

After sadly losing their owner, these two 8.5-year-old Lab mixes have been staying in a temporary situation — but that arrangement is coming to an end. 💔

The good news? They do NOT need to be adopted together! They are not siblings and, while they currently live together, they are independent of one another. Helping even ONE of them would make an incredible difference.

🖤 PARKER — all black
Parker is the playful guy of the pair! He loves to run, play and go for car rides, and he would especially enjoy a home with another playful dog. He is fearful at the vet, so his future family will need to work with their veterinarian on ways to make visits less stressful for him.

🤍🖤 PRIYA — black & white
Priya loves to play too, but she’s a little more independent and would be perfectly happy as an only dog. She’s very people-focused and loves cuddling up with her humans. 🥹❤️

🐾 Both are friendly with dogs, people & children
🐾 Older children preferred due to their strength & energy
🐾 Both LOVE car rides 🚗
🐾 A yard to run and play would be wonderful
🐾 No cats or small animals due to high prey drive

These two have already experienced the heartbreak of losing their person. Now they need someone to help make sure they don’t lose their home, too.

Looking for a best friend for your best friend? Meet Techno 🤍🐾

Techno may only be 10 lbs., but every tiny step he takes toward becoming a brave boy feels HUGE. 🥹

This 1–2 year old merle Poodle mix has been making so much progress. He’s gone from wanting absolutely nothing to do with humans to accepting pets, enjoying lap time, and even falling asleep on his foster while she worked 🤍

We’ve also discovered Techno has a hilarious little habit: he follows his foster everywhere…but from a very safe distance. 😂 He’ll peek around a corner, retreat when he gets nervous, then pop right back out to check again. Hence his new nickname: Peekaboo 👀

His secret to bravery? Other dogs 🐶

Techno watches the confident dogs in his foster home and takes his cues from them. We think he would thrive with a friendly, outgoing canine sibling to show him that the world isn’t so scary.

Some quick facts about Techno:

✨ A little fairy named Tinkerbell is still waiting for her happily ever after! ✨

At just around 4 months old, Tinkerbell is already proving that this adorable salt-and-pepper Cattle Dog mix has a little extra magic sprinkled in. 💕 She’s sweet, cuddly, playful, curious, and wonderfully well-balanced — making her an amazing choice for a first-time dog owner or pretty much anyone looking for a fantastic puppy!

Tinkerbell:
🐾 Loves kids, dogs, and people
🐾 Has done well around cats
🐾 Sleeps through the night in her crate
🐾 Is mostly potty trained with a consistent schedule
🐾 Loves toys, bones, and entertaining herself
🐾 Plays nicely with other dogs without being pushy
🐾 Isn’t much of a barker
🐾 Is learning all about walking on a leash
🐾 Loves following her people around and settling right beside them

👑 Prince is looking for his happily ever after! 👑

This handsome shepherd pup has the most incredible ears and an even better personality. Prince is the definition of a happy-go-lucky puppy—his tail is always wagging, and he approaches every new day with excitement, curiosity, and plenty of puppy silliness. 🐾❤️

Prince is incredibly sweet, loves giving kisses, and would happily spend his days right by your side. He’s been wonderful with other dogs, is starting to discover how much fun toys can be, and is learning that his people don’t have to be within arm’s reach every second. He’s making great progress!

This smart boy sleeps quietly in his crate overnight and during naps, and with consistency, patience, and lots of love, we know he’s going to grow into an amazing best friend.

Vada is still waiting for a forever family to see just how special she is. ❤️

At 3½ years old and 74 pounds, this beautiful Coonhound has so much love to give. Vada may be timid at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet, loving personality truly shines. 🥹

She loves being outside, taking quiet walks filled with sniffing and exploring, and soaking up some fresh air. And give her a squeaky toy? You’ll get to see her playful side come out! 🧸🐾

Vada is looking for a patient family who understands that trust takes time—and knows that the bond you build with a nervous dog is incredibly rewarding. Once Vada trusts you, she’ll be your loyal shadow and best friend.

She would do best in an adult-only or older-children home with an adopter who understands nervous dogs. A calm, confident canine sibling would also be wonderful for Vada, helping her feel secure and showing her that the world isn’t quite so scary after all. ❤️
