As National Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close today, let's remember that mental wellness is just as vital as physical health - and it's a year-round commitment that transcends calendars, from May to April. We're deeply moved by the outpouring of support, especially from our remarkable teens and young adults who participated in our
Warwick Cares 4th Annual May Mental Health Awareness Month Celebration on May 16, 2026,

To everyone involved - our incredible volunteer team, all the talented youth speakers and performers, partnering organizations, supporters, and collaborators - we extend our heartfelt gratitude. The Town and Villages of Warwick continue to set an exemplary standard in helping us champion mental health and su***de prevention. Know that Warwick truly cares. πŸŒŸβ€οΈπŸŽ—πŸ™πŸ½πŸ¦‹.

** Exciting Announcement for Our Veterans and the Warwick Community! **

The Warwick Valley VFW Post 4662 is proud to collaborate with the Orange County Health Department to bring essential health services directly to our beloved community. On May 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Orange County Medical Mobile Unit will be stationed at Pin Street Bowling Alley on Route 94 (across from ShopRite).

This event is open to all Warwick residents and those in the Orange County areaβ€”a testament to our commitment to serving not just veterans, but the entire community.

The mobile unit will provide vital health screenings, including:
- Blood pressure checks
- PSA screenings
- Breast exams

Join us in this incredible opportunity to prioritize health and well-being. We extend our gratitude to County Legislator Barry Cheney, Deputy Commissioner of the Orange County Health Department Lisa Lahiff, Public Health Corps member Larisa Sampson, and Louis Abramson for their support in making this event possible.

Let’s come together as a community to honor our veterans and ensure everyone has access to essential health services! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
