The Warwick Valley Chorale is Orange County’s longest continually-active singing group. Our members range from high school students to senior citizens and join us from many communities within Orange County, Rockland County, Sullivan County as well as neighboring New Jersey. The chorale presents free-admission concerts each May and December in Warwick and neighboring communities. Our programs are u
nder the direction of our director, Ron DeFesi, and with our gifted accompanist, Gail Johnson. We are a thriving versatile group. Our participation has allowed us great opportunities as performing Chorus in Residence for the Warwick Musical Festival, as well as performing for numerous local community events, including dedications of World War II and Vietnam Memorials, the Village of Warwick World Trade Center Memorial, the World Trade Center Warwick Citizens Memorial Benefit and dedication ceremonies, and Home for the Holidays. The Chorale has extended its activities to other communities as well. We have participated in concert performances at the United States Military Academy West Point Cadet Choir, performances with the West Point Concert Band, over a dozen performances at the ever famous Carnegie Hall in New York City within the past several years, as well as performing in the Voices of Hope concert, Philadelphia, PA, a memorial to the victims of September 11th Attack on America. Internationally, some of our members have participated in concert performances in France, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Australia, China and Greece. We rehearse Tuesday nights from 7:30-9:30 at the Warwick Reformed Church. If you are interested in joining, please visit our website for more information.
