It was our honor and pleasure to celebrate the renovation of the Town of Warwick Police Department Station alongside Chief Rader, Supervisor Dwyer, Mayor Newhard and the incredible men and women of the Warwick Police Department who are so dedicated to our community. Chief John Rader spoke about the project and how it was a huge undertaking but was able to get done without disrupting operations. Chief Rader thanked NYS Senator Skoufis for assisting in obtaining a grant that covered the renovation cost completely, Coli Construction, and DeGraw and DeHaan Architects.

On Friday, October 16, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Oak & Rail Studio, located at 2 Oakland Avenue in the Village of Warwick. The historic building dates back to 1862, when it was known as the Warwick Valley House, a hotel that welcomed travelers and summer visitors. Over the years, it has been home to a barber shop operated by Albert Wright, The Stage Law Firm, the Warwick Valley Dispatch, and, in the 1980s and 90s, Talk of the Town hair salon, which eventually became Accola Hair Salon.

Now, Oak & Rail Studio is bringing a new chapter to this historic space, keeping hair at the center of its business while creating a place for local artists, independent creatives, and the community to come together. Congratulations to ! We look forward to seeing this next chapter unfold in the Warwick community.

Last Wednesday we had the honor of celebrating Frazzleberries Country Stores's 30th Anniversary along with the expansion of their store! Within these 30 years the business has had help from three generations. Founded in 1996 by Marybeth Schlichting, joined by son, Jerry Schlichting in 2004, followed by his wife, Katie Schlichting in 2012, and today their daughters, Libby and Ellie Schlichting also follow in their footsteps by working at Frazzleberries. This family business can be found at 20-24 Main Street, Warwick, NY and is excited to see you soon!
