Had another debate with candidates for a Village Trustee seat at Warwick Grove Community this morning. Many local issues came up, and the way in which candidates are proposing to address issues like crumbling infrastructure, lack of necessary funding, ever rising taxes, lifetime benefits for trustees. Unfortunately just as you have heard during live debates on our community's radio WTBQ, no other candidate rose up to the challenge to join my initiative to forego the lifetime benefits for the elected part time officials. If you agree with our position to stop this unfair practice of assuming unsustainable debt for current and future generations of Village residents, please voice your opinion on this matter, sign the petition initiated by GROW( Growth Respectful Of Warwick) movement addressed to The Village Board, support our cause and our candidates if you are looking for someone to benefit your funds , and not to fund his/her benefits. You can access the petition via the following link

Did you tune into yesterday’s debate on WTBQ? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts on Warwick’s promise of lifetime benefits for part-time, temporary Village Trustees and their families and the cost implications of such a perk to the village. Please share your thoughts in the comments.

If you have more questions, I encourage you to contact or visit the GROW Headquarters at (845) 988-GROW/(845) 988-BEST or 20 Spring Street, Suite 1. WTBQ will also replay the debate on Monday, March 16 from 8:00 – 9:00 pm.
