A letter from our President...

Dear Chamber Members and Community Partners,

I am honored to introduce myself as the President and CEO of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Promotion Agency. I’m so pleased to be able to step into this new role and continue to serve an organization that is dedicated to serving the community.

I promise to continue to work diligently and effectively to protect, celebrate, and build upon the core values on which our organization was founded over 25 years ago: Leadership, Excellence, Integrity, and Responsiveness.

The Chamber’s role in our community is simple but important: serve the members and our community practically and thoughtfully, while strengthening connections and helping create opportunities that move Wyoming County forward.

As we look ahead, my goal is to learn from our members, our partners, and our communities. I’m excited to hear what motivates you and to work together to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.

Thank you for your continued support, your investment in this organization, and your commitment to Wyoming County. I look forward to connecting with many of you in the months ahead and working alongside you as we move forward together.

Today we’re celebrating one of our incredible 2025 award winners and a beloved Wyoming County tradition — the Perry Chalk Art Festival! 🎨🌈

This amazing event brings artists, families, businesses, and our community together to transform the streets of Perry into a colorful outdoor gallery. It’s a day filled with creativity, connection, and hometown pride.

ALL ABOARD! 🚂

A once-in-a-lifetime sight is steaming into Wyoming County! The legendary Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 — the world’s largest operating steam locomotive will be making its way through our region, including an unforgettable crossing over the iconic Genesee Arch Bridge in Letchworth State Park.

Whether you’re a lifelong railfan, a photographer, or just looking for a unique family adventure, this is your chance to witness a true piece of American history in motion. As the Big Boy travels through different areas of Wyoming County, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch a glimpse and experience the excitement along the route.

📍 Don’t miss its anticipated crossing of the Genesee Arch Bridge around 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, 6/11 and be sure to plan ahead for the best viewing locations!
