Congratulations to Baylee Hoffmeister, the WINNER of the Wyoming Foundation Youth Leadership Award!! Baylee was recognized as a Wyoming County youth between the ages of 13 and 20 who exemplifies leadership qualities and a commitment to creating positive change through community service, civic engagement, or volunteerism. As part of Baylee's award, she was afforded the opportunity to select a charity organization of her choice to receive a $1,000.00 grant. We could not be happier to announce that Baylee chose the Wyoming County Sheriff's Foundation, Inc. as her charity! Thank you Baylee, for being awesome, and thank you for choosing to help our organization. The donation will go directly to our Shop With A Cop fund, an event Baylee has volunteered at for years. Thank you also to the Wyoming Foundation for all the great work you do for Wyoming County!

We were thrilled to host the Wyoming CSD Student Council at the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office for a tour yesterday! The Student Council traveled to the Sheriff’s Office on a field trip to donate the proceeds they collected at the recent charity basketball game, a total of $700 dollars which will go to our Shop With A Cop program!

The students then took a guided tour of the entire facility, where Undersheriff Colin Reagan took them through the Jail, Patrol Division, 911 Center, and one of the marked patrol cars. A special thanks to Jail Administrator Mike Horton, and Road Patrol Sergeant Aaron Chase, for assisting with the tour!

We were very impressed with the polite behavior of the Student Council members during the tour, their parents and teachers should be very proud. Thank you Wyoming School for your partnership, and we look forward to many future interactions down the road!
