Come hang out, get creative, and spend the afternoon surrounded by paper scraps, glue, vintage goodies, and people who totally understand why you saved that tiny piece of pretty packaging. 😂

Bring whatever you’re currently working on, start something new, catch up on an unfinished journal, or just come play with paper!

Finally got to slow down and make a journal spread of my own at club yesterday! ❤️🤍💙

Between organizing supplies, helping everyone with their journals, and chatting with all of you, I don’t always get the chance to sit down and create. Yesterday I finally did, and it was so much fun. ✂️📖

This patriotic spread is extra special because it features some of the very first sample sticker sheets from Jessica’s Junk Journals! 🎉 The ladies who came to club were the first to get a sneak peek, and seeing everyone use them in their journals made my creative heart so happy.

Now I need your opinion… 👀

🎨 Journal Spread Idea: Pick a Color and Run With It!

Need a creative jumpstart for your next journal page? Choose ONE color and let it guide everything on your spread! 💛

For this yellow-themed spread, I gathered anything that fit the color:
☀️ Yellow paper scraps
🌼 Flower stickers
⭐ Gold stars and sequins
🎗️ Ribbon and fabric
🦋 Vintage-style ephemera
🟡 Buttons and embellishments

The fun part is seeing how many different shades, textures, and patterns you can layer while sticking to a single color theme. There’s no right or wrong way to do it!

✨ Challenge: Open your stash, pick a color, and see what you can create using only items in that color family.

New members, beautiful journals, and the best way to spend a spring Sunday ☀️🌿📚

Today at Junk Journal Club we welcomed some new faces and got to see so many creative ideas come to life. From vintage children’s books to cookbook journals and nature-inspired pages, every journal had its own personality and story.

One of my favorite parts of club is seeing how completely different everyone’s creations turn out, even when we’re all sitting around the same tables with piles of paper and supplies everywhere ✂️💐

Thank you to everyone who came, created, chatted, laughed, and made the room feel so inspiring today. I already can’t wait for next month 💛
