Sarah Dee (Jones) Bragger age 76 of Champion Township, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at St. Joseph Healthcare Center in Warren. She was born in Warren on August 16, 1949; the daughter of the late David Griffith and Inez Pearl (Abrams) Jones.
Sarah was a lifetime area resident, born on August 16, 1949, she was a graduate of Lordstown High School. On April 8, 1972 she married the love of her life, James Bragger. Together they shared 54 years of marriage. She worked as a secretary for 20 years for Trumbull County - OSU. She was of Presbyterian faith and was a member of Champion Presbyterian Church. Sarah was a member of the Warren Women's Club, was the Treasurer of PERI Trumbull County, and met monthly with her fellow Class of 1967 Lordstown High School graduates.
Sarah loved spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who knew her, knew of her love of Cleveland Baseball, scrapbooking, Jersey Boys The Musical, Civic Music, overspending at the American Girl store, attending dance competition as an official "Dance Mimi" and showering her family with love. She enjoyed her annual girls trips and consistently spoiling her granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband, James; a daughter, Shannon (Dylan) Fujimura of Berea; a son, Jonathan (Natalie) Bragger of Warren; two grandchildren (Arden and Madeline) and one brother, Donald (Jan) Jones of Howland Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Nancy Johnson and three brothers; William, David Jr. and Terry Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that material contributions be made in Sarah's memory to the Hope Center for Cancer Care in Howland, 700 Howland Wilson Rd SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
According to Sarah's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Champion Presbyterian Church, 4997 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren, Ohio 44483 with Rev. Alice Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
