My name is Joseph. I am 68 years old, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a proud United States Army veteran.
Although I was blessed with a good childhood, I was introduced to alcohol at just 10 years old. What started at such a young age became a struggle that followed me through many seasons of my life.
One of the hardest moments I have ever faced was losing my wife to COVID. The pain of losing someone I loved so deeply left an emptiness in my heart that words cannot describe. I struggled to imagine what life would look like without her, but even in my darkest moments, God had not forgotten about me.
When I learned about the Warren Family Mission, I decided to give it a chance. Since coming here, my life has changed for the better. I have found encouragement, support, and an opportunity to grow closer to God.
I have learned that no matter what I have been through or how much pain I have experienced, God still has a purpose for my life.
At 68 years old, I know my story is not over. I am grateful for the Warren Family Mission and excited to see what God has planned for the rest of my life.
My hope is that others will see through my story that no matter what they have been through, there is always hope in Jesus Christ.
