The Middle Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the awarding of a STEM Grant to Sacred Heart Catholic School.
This grant will support approximately 131 of our 3rd–8th grade students—about 40% of our school—by providing hands-on, project-based STEM learning through the Qweebi curriculum. Students will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging activities both in the classroom and in our after-school STEM club.
Qweebi provides ready-to-use lesson plans, materials lists, and project ideas, making it easier for teachers to lead meaningful activities that build critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Grant funding will be used to purchase a two-year license for the Qweebi STEM curriculum, covering nearly two years of programming. The school will fund the remaining balance to ensure our students continue to have access to high-quality STEM learning opportunities.

The Middle Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the awarding of a STEM Grant to the Science Olympiad team at Veterans High School. Science Olympiad is the nation’s premier team STEM competition, bringing together 6,700 teams across 425 tournaments in all 50 states. Like a sports team, students in grades 6–12 train and compete in 23 hands-on events spanning fields like genetics, physics, engineering, and earth science—building teamwork, skills, and a passion for discovery.

The Middle Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the awarding of a STEM Grant to HoCo's Engineering Club. Several Board members from the chapter presented the check to Dr. Jay Jones, Mr. James Dix and members of the engineering club. The grant will be used to expand hands-on robotics learning by adding advanced robotics kits and expansion sets, improving access for students during daily labs. Additional resources will support sensors, replacement parts, batteries, chargers, and modular testing areas for building and testing robot designs.
