What if 20 churches said “yes?”

Today we’re launching the 20/20 Challenge.

Our goal is simple:

⛪ 20 church communities
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 20 foster families (one from by each church)
❤️ Dozens of children finding loving, stable homes

Foster families thrive when they don’t foster alone.

When a church surrounds a foster family with prayer, encouragement, meals, childcare, and practical and prayerful support, that family can continue saying “yes” to children who need a safe, loving home.

A huge thank you to the Lincoln Arts Council and Urban Legends Art Studio for partnering with us to host a special painting night for the children and families we serve!

Guided by the theme, "What makes you feel brave or full of hope?" each child created a unique work of art that reflects their story, their resilience, and the hope they are discovering for the future.

We are so grateful for community partners Robert Goldberg, Anna Alcalde, and Connie Haeffner who invest their time, talents, and hearts to help children navigate difficult stories while reminding them that hope is always possible.

These incredible paintings will be featured in our silent art auction at the Christian Heritage Annual Benefit Dinner on September 28, where every piece tells a story and every bid helps create brighter futures for children and families. Join us for a special evening! chne.org/benefit
