Bennet Community Fund

05/28/2026

Give to Lincoln Day has officially announced that this has been a RECORD-BREAKING year of giving, with over $9.6 million donated across Lancaster County!

Now we would love to see Bennet make history too.

The Bennet Community Fund is SO close to reaching $5,000 to add to our endowment, and we are challenging our community to help make this the biggest year of giving in Bennet!

Even just a $10 donation can make a huge impact when our community comes together. Every dollar helps grow our unrestricted endowment so we can continue supporting community projects, youth opportunities, events, and improvements in Bennet for generations to come.

Can we count on YOU to help us finish strong tonight?

Donate here before midnight:

Give to Lincoln Day is TODAY and there are just shy of 9 hours left to donate!

Here’s our challenge to the Bennet community:
If everyone in Bennet donated just $10, we could add nearly $10,000 to the Bennet Community Fund’s unrestricted endowment.

Think about the impact that could make.

A stronger endowment means more opportunities to support community projects, youth initiatives, local improvements, and future grants right here in Bennet for years to come.

Every dollar truly makes a difference — and every gift helps build Bennet’s future.

Take the challenge and donate today:

What kind of community do we want Bennet to be 10, 20, or even 50 years from now? The answer starts with the investments we make today. By growing the Bennet Community Fund endowment, we are creating a permanent source of support that will continue giving back to our community for generations through local projects, youth opportunities, community improvements, and more.

The Bennet Community Fund is participating in Give to Lincoln Day on May 28, 2026 — but you can donate online NOW to help us continue growing our endowment and investing back into our community for years to come!

Every donation, big or small, helps strengthen our endowment so we can continue supporting community projects, youth philanthropy, local improvements, and future opportunities for Bennet. As our endowment grows, so does our ability to give back!

Want to donate in person instead of online? The Bennet City Office Meeting Room will be open on Wednesday, May 26, from 1:00–6:00 PM to assist with in person donations.

We love supporting youth philanthropy and working alongside the Little Nemaha 4-H Club to help make Bennet a little brighter and more beautiful each year! 🌸

Every spring, the Bennet Community Fund purchases flowers for the 4-H club, and the members come together to plant six beautiful planters for our community. Once completed, the planters are placed throughout Bennet:
🌼 1 planter at the Post Office
🌼 2 planters at the City Office
🌼 3 planters at the Splash Pad

We truly value the opportunity to encourage our youth as they look for meaningful ways to improve and give back to our community. Their hard work helps bring extra color, happiness, and beauty to Bennet each year, and we are grateful to support their efforts! 💚
