Receiving a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, leaving patients and families unsure of what steps to take next.

Join an engaging panel discussion exploring key factors that support successful patient navigation from the perspectives of a patient, registered nurse, and physician.

Through a moderated conversation, panelists will share practical insights, personal experiences, and strategies for navigating treatment decisions, communication with providers, support systems, and resources that can help individuals feel more informed and empowered throughout the cancer journey.

Time for audience Q&A will be included.

Cancer Support Community SF Bay Area was honored to present at the UCSF Health Washington Cancer Center Celebration of Life Event! CSC SF Bay Area Director of Educational Programs and Outreach, Caroline Sison, MPH presented and Dana Chloe Morgan had over 150 cancer survivors and caregivers on their feet during Balance and Body Boost for Survivorship.

Dr. Jasmine Huynh in her Survivorship: Life After Colon Cancer talk emphasized that 150+ minutes per week of moderate exercise leads to a 40% reduction in recurrence. CSC SF Bay Area offers over 20+ free of charge exercise and mindfulness-based programs per week to help survivors meet this goal. Learn more at cancersupport.net.
