Ready to ship: Standing with Ukraine 🇺🇦

Another vital shipment of humanitarian aid is packed and ready to begin its journey to Ukraine.

If you’ve seen the news over the last 24 hours, your heart is likely heavy, just like ours. The recent, devastating strikes on residential homes in Kyiv are a painful reminder of what families face every single day.

Amidst this darkness, however, there are always those who bring light.

This particular shipment was made possible thanks to the incredible kindness of an American retiree—a man with a truly massive heart. We can’t wait to share his full story with you in a separate post soon, but today, his generosity is a reminder that compassion knows no distance.

The need for basic comfort, medical supplies, and relief remains critical. If you are able, please consider making a donation today to help us cover shipping costs and keep this lifeline moving. Even the smallest gift helps us deliver hope directly to those who need it most.

Thank you for your beautiful, unwavering support. 💙💛

A horrific night for Kyiv. A Russian missile strike has completely destroyed two sections of a residential apartment building, and emergency teams are desperately searching for survivors trapped beneath the rubble.

The scale of the aggression is staggering: in the last 24 hours alone, Russia has launched up to 1,300 Shahed drones across Ukraine.

In addition, roughly 50 missiles were fired, with nearly 30 aimed directly at Kyiv tonight. The attack is still ongoing. Our hearts are with the families affected by this senseless violence as we wait for updates from the ground. 🇺🇦

This photo captures an ordinary day in Kherson, Ukraine. A bicycle, green grass, spring sunshine—and a child lying face down, covering their head with their hands. This isn't a game of "hide and seek." This is a split-second reaction to the sound of an "outgoing" launch.
In Kherson, children don’t learn to identify car brands; they learn to identify artillery calibers.
The sound of a launch is a lottery. You have only seconds to make yourself as small as possible, to hug the ground, to become invisible to shrapnel.
Childhood in the shadow of the front line means knowing that a nearby tree isn't for shade—it’s a meager shield for when the "shelling" starts right now.
While the rest of the world discusses the latest gadgets, teenagers in Kherson are honing survival skills. The bike is tossed aside because life is worth more than any vehicle. This is the "new normal" in Ukraine.
This photo is vital because it reflects our reality. These children don't get "tired" of the war—they simply don't have that right. They live constantly in the crosshairs, yet they still go outside because the desire to just be a child is stronger than the fear of artillery.
Kherson. Life on the edge of war.
This is how we live now.
Kherson. Ukraine.

Though this "Gratitude" award was presented some time ago, its significance only deepens as Ukraine’s journey toward peace and independence continues.
We are honored to share this recognition now, while the Head of Hearts for Ukraine, Eugene Tarasov, is on the ground in Kyiv, witnessing the incredible spirit and resilience of the Ukrainian people firsthand.

This special honor from the "TABR" battalion of the "LYUT" brigade is a tribute to the collective heart of our entire community. It belongs to every friend, partner, and supporter who has stood with us over the past four years.

Your generosity has been instrumental in providing essential support and enhancing the protective capabilities of those on the front lines of service. By contributing to the overall readiness and safety of the community’s defenders, you are playing a vital role in securing the future victory and independence of Ukraine.

This recognition is yours. We are profoundly grateful for your unwavering commitment to saving lives and supporting the soul of a nation. Together, we are making a lasting impact. 🇺🇦💙💛

Despite the recent waves of attacks, Lviv remains a beacon of light and resilience. These stunning views of the city at twilight were captured by one of our volunteers this week, showcasing a city that continues to live, breathe, and bloom.

This isn’t just about architecture; it’s about the soul of a community that refuses to be broken. It’s about the incredible strength and unwavering support Ukrainians show one another every single day. Ukrainians deeply love their cities and cherish their rich culture, protecting it with everything they have.

At Hearts for Ukraine, we witness this spirit firsthand. We wish for prosperity and lasting peace to return to Lviv and every city across Ukraine. Together, we stand for beauty, culture, and life. 🇺🇦✨

Regardless of whether your Easter falls on April 4th or April 12th, the core of this holiday remains unchanged: it is a celebration of hope, rebirth, and the enduring strength of community.

For Ukrainians, the season is defined by the sharing of p***a and the artistry of pysanky—traditions that have anchored our culture for centuries. Coming out of one of the most grueling winters since the invasion started, these rituals represent more than just heritage; they are a testament to our survival. Today, as families gather to pray and reflect, we celebrate the spirit of perseverance that keeps us moving forward.

On behalf of our Hearts for Ukraine, we wish everyone celebrating a peaceful and blessed Easter!
