Join Soroptimist 24-680 friends at Twilight Tastings at Page Mill Winery in Livermore on Thursday, October 23. Details can be found on the attached flier.

Page Mill gives back to the community by allowing non-profit organizations to have a fundraising platform. They supply the location and wine; Soroptimist supplies the snacks, fellowship and fun. Buy wine by the bottle or the glass and enjoy the company! Soroptimist receives a portion of sales to help them support their programs for the economic and social development of girls and women facing difficult obstacles.

Every year, Soroptimist International distributes more than $2.6 million in education grants to about 2,000 women all over the world. Since 1972, we've distributed more than $30 million in education grants to over 30,000 women making a better life for themselves and their families. Education and training is the pathway to economically empowering women and girls.

Perhaps you know of a potential applicant who is eligible for the Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award. Live Your Dream Awards are cash awards given to motivated women who are the primary financial supporters of their families. The recipients of the award are seeking to improve their lives by being enrolled in a training or educational program and are in need assistance to accomplish their goals.

Soroptimist International of 24-680 enjoyed giving back to the community by participating in the Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center Work Day. The Soroptimist Club members helped to spruce up the facility by painting their white picket fence.
