ABAHD in collaboration with AAA held a car seat distribution and safety event for our newly arrived refugees this weekend. Our interactive event allowed us to teach parents the in’s and out's of car seat safety and address any questions and concerns.

A special thank you to AAA for their collaboration and for giving back to the community. ABAHD along with AAA hopes to serve more families and further our reach in the near future.

We walked away from the event knowing that we as a team contributed to the safety of these beautiful children and we provided a service that will ensure families have the tools needed to better understand car seat safety and the law.

At ABAHD we will always Engage, Educate, and Enable at every milestone.

Celebrating Freedom!

“Juneteenth has never been a celebration of victory or an acceptance of the way things are. It’s a celebration of progress. It’s an affirmation that despite the most painful parts of our history, change is possible—and there is still so much work to do.”

This Father's Day we'd like to celebrate all refugee fathers and their strength, courage, and resilience. Their stories inspire us, their perseverance motivates us, and their courage is unprecedented.
