As the Husky Band gears up for the next competition, let’s look back at the hard work and behind-the-scenes preparation that took place over the summer!
It all started with Mr. McCaskill's vision and design plan for this year’s show. From there, a group of amazing parent volunteers met with MC to brainstorm materials, construction ideas, and creative ways to bring his vision to life on the competition field.
🏰Thank you to Matt Sannipoli for taking those ideas and turning them into the incredible props you see on the field. Matt designed and built the props, putting in countless hours to bring MC’s vision to life. And thank you to Carl Larsen for jumping in alongside Matt and helping build the props. 🛠️
🌸 Thank you to Cora Hemphill for helping design and create the beautiful flowers that are such an important part of the show. Cora also coordinated the volunteers who helped bring the flowers to life.
🏰 Thank you to Vanessa Badgley for designing and creating the arch and tarp, as well as coordinating the volunteers who helped make them. The arch and tarp are important elements of the show and really help bring the overall design together on the field.

From the initial vision and design to the planning, building, painting, crafting, and countless hours of hands-on work, it truly takes a village to bring a marching band show to life.
