News from SEAMS member Coville, Inc.

Congratulations to SEAMS member Coville on announcing key leadership promotions as the company celebrates its 50th year of operations.

Tyler Henson has been named President after nearly a decade with the company, where he has helped drive product development, operational improvements and technical innovation, including Coville's first U.S. fabric patent in more than 30 years.

The company also promoted Morgan Absher to Director of Sales & Customer Service, reinforcing Coville's commitment to customer support, responsiveness and program ex*****on.

Henson, a graduate of NC State University Wilson College of Textiles with a B.S. in Textile Engineering, has spent nearly a decade with Coville in roles spanning product development and manufacturing operations. He has led process and operational improvements across the business and played a key role in advancing the company’s technical capabilities, including the development of Coville’s first U.S. fabric patent in more than 30 years. His experience across knitting, dyeing, and finishing operations positions him to lead continued ex*****on in performance-driven textile programs.
Absher will oversee customer relationships and order ex*****on, with responsibility for responsiveness, communication, and program coordination. She brings experience across the knit fabric supply chain, enabling alignment between development, production, and delivery. Her promotion reinforces Coville’s focus on consistent ex*****on and customer support across ongoing programs.

Michael Gutschmit, previous President, will continue to play an active role with the company as Head of Corporate Development and as a member of the Board of Directors. In this position, he will focus on long-term growth initiatives and will support the continued evolution of the business.

β€œThis step comes as Coville marks its 50th year of operations,” said Don Trexler, Chairman. β€œIt reflects the strength of our organization and our confidence in the company’s future and capabilities. Tyler and Morgan represent our next generation of leadership, and we are well positioned to continue supporting our customers and partners in the years ahead.”

Congratulations to Tyler, Morgan and the entire Coville team on this exciting next chapter.

Today, SEAMS honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the courage, dedication and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish. Their legacy lives on through the strength and resilience of the American spirit.

SEAMS is proud to support and advocate for the U.S. sewn products and textile industry β€” an industry deeply connected to serving our military, our communities and our country.

We remember. We honor. We thank you. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

SEAMS member Infopine is helping textile manufacturers move beyond spreadsheet-driven planning with its iTexClouds Intelligent Planning Engine β€” an AI-assisted scheduling layer designed to work with existing ERP systems without disruption.

Built specifically for textile manufacturing, iTexClouds helps planners optimize schedules using real-world constraints, priorities and capacity data while keeping humans in the loop for full visibility and control. Approved schedules are written directly back into the ERP system for seamless integration.

According to Infopine, manufacturers using iTexClouds can reduce time spent planning and re-planning by 25–60%, improve equipment utilization by 10–20%, and reduce expedites and overtime by 15–30%. The platform is designed for fast implementation and easy adoption β€” without replacing an existing ERP system.

Infopine notes that iTexClouds is backed by more than 30 years of textile manufacturing and operations experience and is built by operators who understand how plants run. Features include secure, role-based access and data governance, with implementation timelines measured in weeks β€” not months.

As part of a special SEAMS offer, pricing starts at $2,500 per month for up to five users. Companies can also schedule a 30-minute demo to see how the platform can improve scheduling, reduce hidden costs and strengthen delivery performance.

To learn more or schedule a demo, contact Todd Morgan at 336-423-8487 or [email protected].
