Gogo Grandmothers supports the programs of SAFE (Sub-Saharan Africa Family Enrichment) in Malawi Africa.

•Support and teacher training for 20 Community-Based Childcare Centers (CBCCs/preschools) in 5 districts in all 3 regions for over 2,548 children.

•Assistance for poor Gogos (grandmothers and sometimes grandfathers) in villages raising grandchildren and other orphans.

• Education and Youth development through the Why Wait? Life Skills Curriculum in primary and secondary schools. Huge impact in preventing school dropout rate, pregnancy, HIV infection, early marriage and raises the passing rates of students.

• Helping fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ through teaching and love in action in poor and vulnerable communities.

150 gogos (grandmothers) from Lake Chilwa each managed to make 2 bags of Mbeya fertilizer( NPK & UREA) today—Thanks to donors who help make what they make possible! These same Gogos will be donating some of their maize for the village preschool children’s porridge when harvest time comes! 🙌🏽

In Malawi grandchildren are often being cared for by a gogo (grandparent). This Mbeya composted fertilizer helps give them hope that they will have maize to eat from their gardens next year. Thank you for helping make the fertilizer they are making possible! 🌽🌽

Hard work and hope look like this right now in our many sponsored villages where Gogo’s are preparing their Mbeya fertilizer to plant with their maize when the rainy season begins. 🙏🏽Pray for them as El Niño is expected to make this a dryer year in Central and Southern Malawi. Many of you have help provide the essential ingredient for this fertilizer that they could not for a good harvest this year. 🌽Thank you!

The freedom Jesus gives doesn’t depend on the hemisphere you’re born in or the leadership of the country you live in.
This freedom has already been won. It is a free gift — ironically received through surrender.
Two days after the U.S. celebrates its 250th birthday of freedom, Malawi will celebrate its 62nd.
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate this 4th of July than by thanking you for using your freedom to help set people free in Jesus Christ! ❤️🤍💙🙌🏽
