The VESD Family Resource Center has partnered with the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health to host a no-cost vaccination event for school-aged children (grades TK/K-12).

This event will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 10:30am - 1:30pm

-Child/children must qualify through the Vaccines for -Children (VFC) program by being uninsured, Medi-Cal eligible, or American Indian or Alaskan Native.
-A parent or guardian is required to accompany children under the age of 18.
-Please bring a photo ID and your child/children's vaccination record to the appointment.

Yesterday we celebrated our incredible Read B4K graduates! 🎓📚✨️

Over the past year, these amazing children ages 3-5 have worked hard building early reading skills, confidence, and a love for learning before starting Kindergarten. From learning letters and sounds to reading their very first words and stories, we are so proud of how far they've come!

A huge thank you to Rotary Club of Victorville, our families, and staff, who have helped make this journey possible. Watching these young learners grow and shine has been such a joy.

Congratulations to our Read B4K graduates - your future is bright and this is only the beginning! 📖

We wrapped up this year's Crochet For A Cause group by presenting our VESD Child Welfare and Attendance Liaisons (CWALs) with the handmade beanies, scarves, and blankets made during the year. The CWALs will be able to provide them to families in need while they are out serving our community.
