Last weekend, our YSF Varsity sailors competed across two separate regattas: the Florida East Coast Series (FECS) at Melbourne Yacht Club and the FL State Championship at Coral Reef Yacht Club in Miami.

🏆 Florida East Coast Series (Melbourne) • Ocean & Greg – 1st Place 🥇 • Nick, Liam & Evan – 2nd Place 🥈 • James & John – 2nd Place (JAM Fleet) 🥈

🏆 Florida State Championship (Miami) • Alex – 10th place

Way to represent YSF out on the water! Drop some 👏 in the comments to congratulate our sailors! 👇

⛵ At YSF, the word VOLUNTEER means so much more!

We are incredibly lucky to have an amazing crew that shows up week after week, rolling up their sleeves and making things happen!

🔨 On this week’s project list: painting boat bottoms, building new picnic tables, repairing engines, constructing a custom sailboat trailer, and so much more!

Their dedication, talent, and generosity help keep YSF moving forward and our sailors on the water.

💙 Our volunteers are truly the heart of YSF! We can’t thank them enough for everything they do!

US Sailing REACH STEM program in Action! We built anemometers to measure the wind. No wind? No worries! We used Jabbo 's Girl 🚤(our pontoon boat) to generate our own wind! - This turned our anemometers into speedometers! 🤓
