So who are Bly and Brax?
Bly made his grand debut at just 32 weeks and spent his first four weeks in the NICU before graduating with an apnea monitor to help track bradycardias and desats. Since then, he has faced numerous respiratory infections, including over 20 cases of strep, and was recently diagnosed with PANDAS.
Brax arrived even earlier at 30 weeks, spending six weeks in the NICU and much of his first two years in and out of the PICU. He continues to bravely battle severe reactive airway disease and is currently undergoing additional testing, but you would never guess it from his bright spirit!
Thank you both for coming and sharing your story with us. Your strength and resilience inspire us, and we hope to carry that same spirit in everything we do!
