One SD State Fair camping spot including four wristbands in Gate H for sale for $250 (paid $367). Gate H is directly across from the southwest corner of the fairgrounds and you can bring campers in starting Thursday, August 27, from 7 AM-8 PM. These are not set spots so you can go anywhere on that campground. They do not have power but they do include water and sewer. Please let me know if you are interested. Cross-posted.

Thank you everyone for making the 2026 Clay County Fair a success!

If you still need to pick up exhibits or need to claim a lost and found item, the office hours for this week are Monday 8-5 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 8-12 pm, Thursday 8-5 pm and closed Friday.

It's the last day of the Clay County Fair and there is SO MUCH GOING ON! Our world-famous demolition derby caps the fair off, tonight at 7 PM with gates opening at 5!

With all the rain that we have (finally) gotten, the Great Plains tractor pull for tonight has been cancelled. But, weather pending for some activities, everything else is going on! Come see us at the Clay County Fair!

What a great night of mutton bustin' and mini-bull ridin' last night! More bulls tonight and a full slate of activities plus inflatables during the day so come on over to the Clay County Fair!

Did you guys know the Clay County Fair now starts on WEDNESDAY? Events start TODAY at 3 PM and end with the Mutton Bustin' and Mini Bulls Showdown at 7 PM in the open arena!
