Our Club Kids put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test during STEM camp! From designing tin foil boats that could stay afloat, to building marshmallow and toothpick structures, and engineering parachutes that actually worked; every challenge sparked curiosity, teamwork, and innovation.

These hands-on activities aren’t just fun; they help our youth build critical thinking skills, explore new ideas, and gain confidence as they turn imagination into action. Watching our members experiment, learn from trial and error, and celebrate their successes is what BGCA is all about.

Our teens had an amazing time hitting the lanes at Yankton Bowl on their recent bowling field trip! From friendly competition to lots of laughs, the day was full of energy, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

Opportunities like this give our Club members a chance to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and enjoy new experiences outside the Club walls. Whether it was cheering each other on or celebrating a great score, every moment reflected what BGCA is all about—creating a safe, positive place where great futures are built.

A big shoutout to our staff and supporters for making experiences like this possible, as well as the amazing facilities that host us. We can’t wait for our next adventure!

Ribfest Popsicles for a Purpose

Join us at Ribfest on June 13th in the heart of the kids’ activities area for a fun and meaningful way to support local youth!

This summer, the Boys & Girls Club of Yankton is proud to be part of the community celebration—and we invite you to stop by our booth to cool off with a popsicle and learn more about the impact happening right here in our communities.
