There are 9 days left to fill out and return applications for the 2026 Heindsmann Family Endowment Scholarship.

This award is granted from an endowment created by Virginia and Ted Heindsmann to a deserving student based on financial need, academic promise, and dependability. Consideration will be given only to students who have completed two or more years of higher education or who are seeking special training or retraining.

If you're unable to pick up the packet or if you have any questions, you can call the church at (206) 463-2010 to have the forms emailed to you.

Scholarship Applications are being accepted for the 2026 Heindsmann Family Endowment Scholarship. This award is granted from an endowment created by Virginia and Ted Heindsmann, long time residents of Vashon Island, to a deserving student based on financial need, academic promise and dependability. Consideration will be given only to students who have completed two or more years of higher education or who are seeking special training or retraining. This award is not intended for high school seniors. Application packets may be obtained at the Presbyterian Church at 17708 Vashon Highway SW or by calling the church at 206-463-2010 to have forms mailed to them. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 to noon. Completed forms must be returned to the church office by Thursday, April 30th.

The VPC Yard Sale is coming up soon!

This Saturday, stop by Vashon Presbyterian Church (next to Camp Colvos Taproom) for a huge yard sale. Whether you’re in the market for household items, toys and puzzles, or just want to stroll around in the sunshine, we’ve got you covered!
