Vashon Poetry Page

Vashon Poetry Page Promoting, enjoying, and celebrating the genius of poetry in our lives, with special focus on the poets and poetry of Vashon Island.

While this page was originally created for the Vashon Poetry Festival—held in 2009, 2010 and 2011—the organizers needed a break after three amazing years, and yet there seems to be more and more poetry going on on the island, following a long tradition. Thus this page has become the Vashon Poetry Page—a place to share poetry events, readings, new books and other worthy items from anyone involved in poetry on Vashon.
