We are experts in making protest bold, fun, visible, and effective, as well as offering solutionary strategies that help build the world we want.

Next stop: CLEVELAND, OH. 🇺🇸✊ The We The People of Ohio tour is heading to its last stop having already been to over a dozen locations throughout Ohio. It is now on its way to Cleveland for a stop on June 6th at Pride in the CLE - come add your name!!

Backbone won an Emmy!
Well, kind of. Projecting Protest, a documentary by filmmaker Tom Clement - that we played a major role in - won the Emmy for Best Short Documentary last night.

We are grateful that Tom recognized the novelty and power of projection when he was working behind the camera at a political debate where Team Backbone was projecting "Tax the Ultra Rich" on the backdrop the press were compelled to film.

Tom followed that spark of inspiration with two years of work capturing our and others' projections, interviewing activists and lawyers and sculpting all that into a fantastic documentary.

We are honored and proud to have had a role in this documentary. We are proud to have provided lights and training to activists in dozens of cities around this country and plan to do more.

And finally, we are grateful to Tom for all his smart, tireless, and skillful work. We congratulate him on this well deserved recognition and wish him well in all future endeavors. Congratulations and Thank you Tom Clement.
