What an amazing 10 days under the big top. Shoestring Circus brought classic circus magic to Hazel Dell Commons and the neighborhood showed up.

The Shoestring team told us they loved seeing how excited people were to stop by and check out the tent. They said Vancouver was a super participatory fun crowd.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this such a special moment for Hazel Dell. The Commons is starting to feel like the gathering place we imagined.

Next up: Pepper Palooza on Saturday, October 4. Get ready for farmers selling fresh peppers, chefs cooking pepper dishes, and live fire-roasting so you can take home your favorites straight from the source.

SAD ANNOUNCEMENT

Last night someone broke into three out of the four food carts in the beloved Hazel Dell Commons Food Cart pod. They did property damage as well as took money. We are having a fundraiser tomorrow, Friday December 11th to help them out during this already tough time. 20% of the sales for the day will go to those affected. Our food carts will remain open to provide you lunch and dinner for here or to go.
