ICare of Michigan We are 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We provide relief for unforeseen circumstance one time. Something must be done.

For more than five decades, iCare of Michigan has been there, on a one-to-one basis, to help those in need. iCare of Michigan does not sustain any one person, one family or one charitable agency. What it does is fill the one-time immediate need to help any child, adult or family diffuse a current crisis. We are dedicated to raising funds to help those in need where no other help exists, and provid

e such in a speedy response. For instance, an iCare of Michigan member learns that a familyโ€™s water and gas are about to be turned off. A call is made, the case is evaluated, a check is written and the immediate problem is avoided. Generally, the check is written to the utility company or agency, almost never to the person in need. This assures that the money goes directly to solving the problem.

Some moments make you pause and remember the hearts that came before us.

What started over 57 years ago, back in 1969, began with a group of men who saw a need and chose to answer it with compassion. ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ซ ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐…๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ had a heart for children, families, and neighbors walking through difficult moments, and they built something rooted in love, service, and hope.

All these years later, that heart is still beating through ICare of Michigan. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

This yearโ€™s iCare of Michigan 2026 BBQ Cookoff was such a beautiful reminder of what happens when people come together for a mission rooted in love, service, and helping families when they need it most.

To every sponsor, committee chair, volunteer, guest, donor, friend, and every person who gave, served, shared, and supported, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to our No Red Tapeโ„ข Partners who continue to stand beside this mission, we are so grateful.

The 2026 iCare of Michigan BBQ Cookoff was filled with amazing food, great conversations, laughter, heartfelt stories, and a room full of people who genuinely care about helping others. Seeing our community come together in such a meaningful way is something we will never take for granted!
