Bring your furry, feathered, or scaled members of your family (or a picture of them!) this Sunday for a special service! We will begin inside with an abbreviated service, and move outdoors for the blessing & coffee hour.

Happy Paws Haven; a local Metro-Detroit foster based no-kill rescue, will be on site. They will be accepting donations and will have further information on how to support their work.

Bowie is a healthy, neutered 9½-year-old, 15-lb dapple dachshund looking for a quiet home. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, cuddly, and loves treats and being close to his people.

His ideal home is one or two experienced adults with no children, other pets, or frequent visitors.

Bowie has fear-based reactivity/aggression toward strangers and a past bite history involving strangers only. He has not had a bite in many years. He has never bitten his primary caregivers. His behavior is well controlled with separation from unfamiliar guests.

He is house-trained (outside or p*e pads), healthy and vaccinated. His current owner will continue covering his annual vet exam, vaccines, and trazodone.

I am still in shock and can't believe that he passed away. 💔

Our Rescue wants to give a very heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated and , The Karens for getting him safe and getting him to us, and most of all to Animal Emergency Center - Rochester. There was not a dry eye there today and everyone worked so hard to save him and treated him so wonderfully with so much love and great veterinary care. The doctors, the vet techs, and staff, everyone was amazing. Please consider giving them a good Google rating, they definitely deserve it, they are feeling just as devastated as we are. Thank you again. 🙏🏼

Shortly after I made the Facebook Live with Mr. Whisky, he collapsed, went into shock, and subsequently cardiac arrest. They were initially able to revive him and then his little body gave out. We are devastated I and can barely type this.
We will get justice.

Thank you for everything. I know a lot of people donated and prayed. I just can't believe this happened. We were able to cover his bill 100% and I know that certainly no consolation because we'd much rather have this poor baby, but I just wanted to say thank you again to everybody. We tried so hard.
