RailNation Toledo was a huge success! For the first time Rail Passengers and All Aboard Ohio teamed up for the annual event which brought more than 200 rail officials and advocates together to hear from Representative Marcy Kaptur, Amtrak, TARTA, MORPC, Lake Erie West Regional Council and so many more.

The largest upgrade to Amtrak’s fleet is starting today with the first of 83 modern new Amtrak Airo trains entering revenue service. Better quality, service, and features are all waiting for you. While the first trains will enter service in the northwest more will be coming to routes across the country.

A mystery in Cleveland. A proposed new Greater Cleveland RTA rapid train station at the new Browns Stadium recently showed up in the Ohio Department of Transportation’s project database but it’s not clear how. With no formal announcement or public records it’s not clear who’s funding it either. But would you take the Cleveland RTA to Brooke Park football games?

This past weekend we celebrated the Cincinnati Streetcar turning 10 years old with over 200 fans! The Cincinnati streetcar carries more than a million riders annually and has seen more than a billion dollars in development projects along its route. A big thank you to Connector and Cincinnati Department of Transportation and Engineering for hosting tours of the maintenance facility.
