Tyler is a handsome 4-year-old orange-and-white cat who came to us after his human companion passed away.

🎃🐾 A huge thank-you to Somerset Trust Company (somersettrust) Company for making this Howl-Meow O’ween extra special!

Their Howl-Meow O’ween Pet Food Drive brought in an incredible collection of donations to help support the animals in our care — and Sparta was more than happy to help inspect the haul. 😄🐶

We’re especially grateful to the teams and customers at the Uniontown Downtown, Uniontown Giant Eagle, and Hopwood Somerset Trust locations for collecting food and supplies for our pups and kitties.

These donations make a real difference in the day-to-day care of our animals, and we’re so thankful for community partners who continue to show up for FFOA in such meaningful ways. ❤️

🎃🐾 Happy Halloween from Fayette Friends of Animals!

We’re always finding reasons to have a little fun at the shelter… and today that apparently means giant chickens, scream-worthy costumes, and kittens who are somehow completely unfazed by all of it. 😂

Our animals keep us laughing every day, and our staff definitely knows how to join in.

🐾❤️ What a busy week at the shelter!

So many of our sweet animals headed home, and we could not be happier for them.

A huge shout-out to our staff and volunteers for everything that happens behind the scenes to make those happy adoption photos possible — processing applications, scheduling surgeries, running animals back and forth to vet appointments, meeting with families, helping people find the right fit, and keeping every animal healthy, comfortable, and loved while they wait.

There is a lot of work that happens before an animal walks out our doors, and we are so grateful for the people who make it happen every single day.

🎃🐾 What a fun night at the Halloween Parade!

We had such a great time last night — perfect weather, perfectly cute pups, awesome volunteers, and amazing community partners. ❤️

Our shelter pups loved being out and soaking up all the attention, and we spotted a few familiar faces in the crowd too — some FFOA alumni celebrating Halloween with their families! 🥹🐶

Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello, cheered us on, volunteered, partnered with us, or simply came out to enjoy the evening.

🥊 Rocky is a 1-year-old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix with a tan-and-white coat, lots of personality, and plenty of energy for playtime and adventures.

🍑 Peach is a 3-year, 9-month-old Yorkie mix who is just as sweet as her name. She’s ready for a loving home, cozy spots, and people of her own to adore.

Both of these little sweeties are looking for families and would love the chance to meet you.
