Considering St. Edward’s? Here are some FAQs to keep in mind! 👍
🔵 What grades does St. Edward’s offer?
We proudly educate students from Preschool (3 & 4) through 8th Grade! There are limited spots available in Preschool and Kindergarten, so inquire now!
🔵 What are the benefits of a St. Edward’s PreK-8 education?
At St. Edward’s, our mission is to educate the whole person through faith and knowledge. We believe in creating virtuous, good people. At the end of the day, we are a faith-based school and we pride ourselves in bringing all families closer to God.
Our preschool curriculum offers play-based learning, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and opportunities for exploration, creativity, and faith incorporation. Our K-5 math and language curricula come from Great Minds and Wonders (respectively), same as the Twin Falls School District! We also offer daily “specials” for our K-5th graders: we currently offer Spanish, P.E., Art, and Library but those are subject to change! Finally, our Middle School offers customized electives 2 hours a week that are chosen by the students based on their interests. Some of the most popular options are sculpture, painting, lifetime sports, cake decorating, yearbook, and guitar, among so many others!
🔵 When does the school open? What time does school start?
Our doors open at 7:30 AM! Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:15, then we do a schoolwide morning prayer. All classes begin at 8:30 AM. Bring the kids in early, or have a slow morning. Either way, St. Ed’s is here for you!
🔵 Do you have after school care?
Yes we do! Students are welcome to stick around from 3:45-5:45 at a slightly additional cost. We also provide an after school homework club to aid those that need a little extra time or help. However, we do not offer a summer program at this time.
🔵 What are your holiday breaks?
We follow a typical school schedule from August through May! We take one week off for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, and one week for Spring Break!
