Big congratulations to the City of Cambridge!

Hooray! We received a grant to fund the Cambridge Midvale Goodrich Senior Center project for renovations!! This is so exciting for our community!!! The Senior Center is trying to raise their $5,000 match so be sure to support the Taco Feed this weekend during Hells Canyon Days and if you are able you can always stop in with a donation.
“This grant is a tremendous victory for our seniors and for our entire community. The Cambridge Midvale Goodrich Senior Center has been a lifeline for generations of residents, and these renovations will ensure it can serve many generations more. We are deeply grateful to the Idaho Department of Commerce for this investment in Cambridge and to Frontier Community Resources for their invaluable partnership in helping us secure it.”

Last week, we were proud to have our President, Jeff McCurdy represent Frontier Community Resources at the 2026 Spring Summit Hill Visits hosted by NADCO: National Association of Development Companies in Washington, D.C.

These meetings on Capitol Hill provided an important opportunity to advocate for the program, support economic development initiatives, and highlight the meaningful impact community development companies have on small businesses and local communities across the country.

We appreciate the work NADCO continues to do in bringing industry leaders together to ensure our collective voice is heard by policymakers. Advocacy and collaboration remain essential to strengthening access to capital and creating opportunities for business growth.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these conversations productive and impactful. We’re honored to be part of an industry committed to supporting entrepreneurs and driving economic development nationwide.

What an incredible time in Pocatello last week! 🌾

The 2026 Idaho Rural Success Summit brought together rural community leaders, businesses, and stakeholders from across the state for a day and a half of learning, connecting, and celebrating what makes Idaho's rural communities so special.

From energizing presentations and panels to meaningful networking, the energy in the room was a reminder of just how much talent, resilience, and opportunity exists across rural Idaho.

Happy National Small Business Week! Our team had the honor of celebrating our customer Gymreapers as the Idaho's State Exporter of the Year, recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Based in Nampa, GymReapers has grown from a scrappy e-commerce brand into a premium global training gear company trusted by athletes worldwide. That kind of growth doesn't happen without a strong ecosystem behind it.

A few numbers that put it in perspective:
- Idaho exported $4.3 billion in goods in 2024 (World's Top Exports / IBISWorld)
- 85% of Idaho's exporters are small businesses (SBA Office of Advocacy, 2025)
- Idaho exports support an estimated 16,000 jobs statewide (USTR)

Big thanks to the partners doing the work every day: SBA Boise District Office, Idaho Department of Commerce, Idaho Small Business Development Center, U.S. Commercial Service, Idaho District Export Council, and the lenders across the state making it happen.

Congratulations to the GymReapers team. You make Idaho proud. 💪
