Today we had the privilege of hosting a successful lender training with the WaFd Bank team, bringing together incredible partners who are committed to strengthening Idaho's small business community.

A special thank you to the Idaho Small Business Development Center, the Idaho Women's Business Center with Business Impact NW, and the SBA Boise District Office for sharing the valuable resources and support available to help small businesses start, grow, and thrive.

We also discussed how Frontier's SBA 504 loan program, along with our internal lending solutions, can equip lenders with additional tools to expand capital access for their small business customers.

Collaboration like this is what makes a difference. By connecting lenders with trusted resource partners and financing solutions, we're helping ensure Idaho entrepreneurs have the support they need to start, scale, and succeed.

South-Central Idaho Celebrates America's 250th!

This Independence Day weekend marks our nation's 250th birthday, and communities across South-Central Idaho are celebrating in style. Whether you're staying close to home or making a day of it, here's where to find the red, white, and blue this year.

ALBION: 4th of July, Albion City Park Kick off the morning with a Senior Breakfast (8–9:30 AM), a Patriotic Program at the Historical Society Museum (10 AM), and the Apple Drop ticket sales before the Parade steps off at 11 AM. Flag raising and National Anthem follow at 12:20 and 12:30 PM, then the park comes alive from 12:30–4 PM with a bouncy house, face painting, fish pond prizes, a grease pole competition, and live music from LIVE EDGE. Grand Marshal: the Four Leaf Clover Club, serving Albion since 1899.

BLAINE COUNTY: America 250 Celebrations, All Summer Long Blaine County is celebrating all summer 2026 with parades, museum exhibits, and community events across the county. Visit America250.BlaineCountyID.gov for the full schedule of dates and details.

BURLEY: Burley Celebrates America 250 Saturday, July 4th, 4 PM at Rivers Edge Park. Enjoy fireworks, food trucks, family games, business window decorating, and a co****le tournament, with live music starting at 4 PM and headliner Heath Owens taking the stage at 7 PM. Fireworks light up the sky at dark.

FILER: July 3rd & 4th Start the celebration early at Filer City Park on July 3rd with a Carolina-style Smoked Pig Dinner from The Food Dude ($10) plus dessert and drinks from Glazed Over, starting at 5 PM. Then head to the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds on July 4th from 1 PM until fireworks for craft and food vendors, Kiddie Land, a dunk tank, and more. A Hometown Hero Dedication takes the Main Stage at 3 PM, live music begins at 4 PM with Avery Soloaga, Devon Tyler, Paige & Morgan, and Avery Soloaga & the Elementals, capped off with a fireworks show from Filer Rural Fire Protection.

KIMBERLY: A Salute to America's Military Saturday, July 4th, 12–2 PM at Kimberly City Park. Bring a lawn chair for recognition and honor guard presentations from every branch, including Coast Guard, Air Force, Navy, Space Force, Army, Marine Corps, and the Idaho Army National Guard, plus a free barbecue hosted by Rock Creek Fire District and a live band performing each branch's theme song.

TWIN FALLS: America 250 Fourth of July Fireworks Show Saturday, July 4th, at the College of Southern Idaho. As an America 250 Ambassador City, Twin Falls lights up the sky at dusk. Bring the family and find your spot early.

Shoutout to our friends in the City of Eden, Idaho!

Tomorrow, June 27th, Eden celebrates two incredible milestones, America's 250th birthday and the city's own 110th birthday. The community is coming together at Eden City Park for a full day of patriotic programming, local speakers, and a community BBQ hosted by the City of Eden.

We're proud to serve Eden as part of our Region 4 Economic Development District, and we love seeing this community show up for itself. This is what rural Idaho is all about.

What you'll do:
-Support loan servicing, payment processing, and compliance for SBA, USDA, and Treasury programs
-Partner with our finance team on reporting, data tracking, and audit preparation
-Serve as a responsive point of contact for our borrowers

What we're looking for:
-Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting (or equivalent experience)
-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer-first mindset
-Background in banking, lending, or financial services is a plus

Salary: $52,000 – $57,000, plus a full benefits package including medical, dental, 403(b) with employer contribution, and more.
