Homelessness is not something one person or one agency can solve alone—it’s a community issue that calls for all of us to come together. At Isaiah 54 Project, we believe it is possible when we partner and collaborate.

One of the ways we do this is by addressing food insecurity alongside the challenges of homelessness and mental health. We are grateful for the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, whose tireless work makes it possible for organizations like ours to serve our neighbors with dignity and compassion.

We are so grateful for the Lord’s provision! Tonight’s meal was generously sponsored by The Merchant Tulsa. 💙 This incredible nonprofit is a true blessing in our community—not only serving our unhoused friends with meals, but caring for the whole person: spirit, soul, and body.

A day at The Merchant Tulsa begins with morning prayer and a time of devotion at 9 a.m., followed by meals from 10 a.m.–noon. Guests also receive access to case management, showers, laundry, and other vital services that bring dignity and hope. And on Sundays at 2 p.m., they host a service especially for our friends.

Today, one of our friends was quietly waiting in line for his turn to get a plate. In almost a whisper, he said,
“I do not deserve such a good meal.”

Two of our volunteers overheard him and immediately leaned in with kindness:
“First of all, God loves you… and we love you too.”

That simple exchange was both humbling and heartbreaking. For many experiencing homelessness, life has conditioned them to expect the bare minimum—especially when it comes to a good, healthy meal. A warm plate prepared with care can feel almost “too much” for someone who’s been told, by circumstances or by others, that they aren’t worth it.

But at Isaiah 54 Project—together with our partners at and .jeremyjohnson —we believe every single person deserves to feel valued, seen, and cared for. This meal was more than food—it was generosity, talent, and compassion woven together, turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary.

When you give or volunteer with organizations like the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, you’re doing more than filling plates—you’re helping restore dignity, hope, and the unshakable truth that everyone is worthy of a healthy meal. 🥘 Thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers!
