Helloooo peoples out there scrolling on their phone. It is i, Goliath, saying come sees me and my friendz at Tucson Rescue Now today, Sunday (30 August), from 11 to 3.

If you've never met me, you have been missing out, because i am an AWESOMES guy. I love the following...
Car rides
My ball
Snuggles with people who come see me at TRN
Laying in the dirt (and not my dog bed)
Tearing apart toys
Walks
Car rides (yep, I already said this)
Being in the sun (but in the dirt and not my bed)
Being outside when it is freakishly hot (but my foster mom makes me get in the shade)
Chasing lizards (I am bad at it)
My ball
My ball
My ball (like it lots so listed it lots)
I have some bad knees and recently got a new brace. That means I wear two, one for each back leg. I am getting used to the second one and don't always wear them at the same time. But I do very well with them and have not chewed them up. "It's Goliath," my foster mom says. " He wouldn't do that." That's because I am good boy.

Bad knees mean i am not a hiking or running dog. I like walks, and because it's hot, we keep them short and to the morning while I get used to wearing both braces .
If you are looking for Mr Mellow, I am your fellow. I'll binge watch shows with you or hang out doing nothing. I enjoy being outside, so you'll need a yard for me because i like to explore while i am out.

So come visit me and my friends today.
Big G

Stop in Sunday (8/30) from 11am to 3pm to meet me or message me through our page or email [email protected] for more information!

Lenora
• Un-Spayed Female (surgery pending)
• 59 pounds
• 8 years old
• ID #: 907138

Lenora arrived at the shelter when her previous owner could no longer care for her and a few other dogs. In her playgroup evaluation, she generally kept to herself and was said to be very people oriented. She is housed with a young male dog (only 10 months old) at PACC. She is a nervous gal, and her body bears the scars of a rough past. She is fearful until she feels safe, and then she opens up. Walks are scary, but she will go for one. She'd be just as happy to stay near you and hang out. She is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Omelet arrived at PACC after he was taken to a local emergency vet clinic with injuries that the shelter clinic took care of. He is a big love with everyone he meets. He really loves tennis balls, and more than one works best so he can carry one while you throw the other. Over and over a few times, then he likes to plop down on the cool floor and relax. He's a strong guy, so he'll need someone who can handle him, but he is pretty well behaved on his walks, and he loves to smell all the smells. He'd be quite happy to be your one and only, as he loves to snuggle and soak up all the love you have to give, but a calm and non-dominant house buddy could work just fine, too. He seems to open up with calm female dogs, even if they are smaller than him. He is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet him at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Lulu is the dog on the right in the picture. She NEEDS at least one other confident dog in her life at this time to help her learn how to "dog." She had a challenging start in life, and she's ready to put her past behind her and learn how great life can be! Some dogs need to be an "only" dog, and some really and truly need a pal or two to help them become the very best version of themselves. Lulu is a gem who just needs a little polishing to sparkle and shine. She is a wonderfully sweet girl with a lot of love to give.

Lulu arrived at the shelter as part of a hoarding case. She had a litter of puppies who found adoptive homes early on. This young gal is now looking for her forever home that will include a calm, confident dog or two who can help her learn that the world isn't such a scary place.

Notes from her current foster:
Lulu is a bit shy to start, but as she becomes more comfortable you will see her goofy, bouncy personality shine! She will greet you with smiles and deliver top notch "corncobs" when she is happy to see you. She is house-trained and crate trained, and still learning that walks aren't as scary as they seem. She would do best in a home with a confident doggie friend to show her the ropes and a family that will give her time and space to settle in. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and people and loves spending time outdoors in her yard exploring and soaking up the sunshine. She is available to adopt.

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Astrid
• Spayed Female
• 59 pounds

Astrid has been with her loving foster family for a while now, hoping to find her forever home. They bring her to TRN each week, typically every Sunday. While she loves to visit the store, we know she'd really like to meet that special person or family she can call her very own for all the rest of her days! She loves her foster boys, even comforting them when they're sad. One of her favorite things is to play tug, she is amazingly strong for a gal her age! She enjoys car rides, snuggling is a favorite past-time, rolling in the grass and she'll even fetch when the feeling strikes. Squeaky toys are the best, and she can de-squeak and unstuff them in no time flat. She likes being the only dog in her current home, although she has met male dogs in the past that she enjoyed playing with, so that's a possibility. This special gal will steal your heart! She is available to adopt.

She is typically with us on Sundays each week. Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

• 47 pounds

Cornelius arrived at PACC as a stray, so nothing is known about him prior to coming to the shelter. In his playgroup evaluation, he generally kept to himself. He is housed with another larger male dog at PACC. He is a bit nervous with new experiences, but once he feels safe, he warms right up and is a very sweet boy. He would benefit from having another confident dog or two to watch and learn from. And when he feels safe, he lets his guard down and plays with similar energy dogs, so being part of a pack would really be great for him. He is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet him at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Padjo arrived at PACC recently after his owner passed. He's a nervous guy, and we've learned that his life before arriving at the shelter might not have been the best. At PACC, he generally kept to himself during his play group evaluation. He walks nicely on leash, but he prefers to just be by someone more than anything. He isn't interested in toys, but he does love to be loved on; he soaks it right up. At the shelter, he is currently housed with a younger female dog, and he has met other dogs while at TRN and done fine with them. He is available to adopt or foster.

Cornelius (the handsome guy on the left) is a lot like Lulu (a new foster visiting Tucson Rescue Now this weekend, not pictured here)--he becomes a different dog when he can be with another dog. At PACC, he has had multiple kennelmates and done great with them all. At TRN, he has met all of the dogs currently with us, and he has been terrific with everyone. Humans make him nervous, but when there is another dog who can show him the way, he opens up and becomes a different version of himself. Do you have a friendly dog who needs a loyal pal? Cornelius is your guy!

Come meet him and his friends on Sunday, from 11am to 3pm at:

4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant & Swan)

(the dog on the right in the pic is Marisa, A786186, currently in a foster home through PACC--she is available to adopt and is a total doll!) Email them at [email protected] to find out how to meet her!
