Goliath does it best, so we will let him tell you all about his amazingness!

I am Soooper awesums.

Anywho..thingZ about me include da following...
*I snore loud
*I have a head the size of a gallon of milks
*I like to put myself in the dirt and not on my bed when I am outside. This means I get lots of wiped down baths when I come in the house. I am a pretty clean dog.
*I am a couch potato, a bed potato, and a chair potato.
*I love love love love to ride in the car.
*I gets excited when my foster mom comes home from work and want to play with the ball, but I don't want to play with it with her. I just want to play with it by myself.
*I have gotten along with cats, and I i think maybe they liked me a little.
*I am the (not so) great lizard hunter when I see them in my yard. My foster mom still thinks it's funny I go after little, tiny lizards and have no interest in bunnies or birds other than to sit and watch them.
*I have some issues with my knees so I am not a hiking or running dog. These issues also mean I am on medication that my foster mom gives me when i'm not feeling well. But I am still a fantastic dog

So come see my fantastic self and my other friends this weekend. I think my foster mom will post a few things about some of those dogs so look for that.

Harley is a big boy who arrived as a stray at PACC. He loves the ladies, but fun guys are ok in his book, too. He'd like to meet any potential doggy friends before he heads home and would prefer they be mellow and laid back. He loves to spend time in our play yard, and plays with all sorts of toys these days--tennis balls, squeaky toys, and he can make almost any toy work for a spirited game of tug. He likes to take walks and appreciates it if he can smell everything while he is out and about. He is said to be able to clear a 5 foot fence; but we've found that once he feels safe and knows he is cared for and not being left alone, he has no desire to roam. He really enjoys his treats and is an avid fan of food in general; he loves mealtime! He recently got to spend the day at a golf tournament and he enjoyed being outdoors in the fresh air and meeting lots of new friends. He rides great in the car and he is a champion nap-taker! He is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet him at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Kaia needs a new foster or adopter by Sunday afternoon! Her current foster will be on extended travel, and Kaia will have to return to the horribly overcrowded PACC if we aren't successful. HELP: SHARE, COME MEET HER, TAKE HER HOME!!

Her foster mom says:

Kaia is ready for her new home BEFORE JUNE 1! Are you looking for a big bundle of loyalty and love? Foster or adopt this 9-year-old sweetheart and just relax. She’s quiet, friendly, calm, smart, low-maintenance, non-destructive, completely housebroken and polite. Sooo polite! She is a pleasure to walk.

We don’t know anything about her past: this 80-pound pit bull was dropped off at PACC August 2025 as a stray. I met her in December at Tucson Rescue Now (TRN) and have fostered her ever since, with a couple stays back at PACC when I was out of town. Kaia has been a TRN fan favorite for her easy-going ways. She needs to be someone’s only pet and prefers no young kids, please.

Kaia loves walking three or four times a day for about ten minutes each time (she has some arthritis in her back legs). She has her routines – once a neighbor gave her a treat and Kaia still stops at that driveway every day. She recognizes her people friends at a distance and her tail starts wagging her whole body - she can’t wait to see them again! While she ignores some dogs on our walks, she does tense up with others. I am not particularly strong (in my 70s) but it is not hard for me to calm her down and put her into sitting position until the “offending” dog passes by.

I’m happy to answer any questions and would be happy to have you visit or we could visit you! [email protected]

She will be with us this week from Thursday through Sunday (5/28-5/31).

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page or email [email protected] for more information!

Trish
• Un-Spayed Female (surgery pending)
• 16 pounds
• 5 years old
• ID #: 900866

Trish is part of the recent 100+ animals hoarding case at PACC. As most of the dogs from that situation, she is a nervous girl who will need someone that can provide a calm, quiet home where she can learn how to be loved and what a real home is like. she is housed at the shelter with multiple other dogs, so she could be a single gal, or be part of your current pack. Bring your dog(s) with you so they can meet! We doubt she will stick around long, the smaller breed dogs always move quickly through the shelter system. We open at 11am, come on by. She is available to adopt, she is not available for foster.

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Gia recently returned from a temporary foster break (her foster is on travel, so she needed to return to PACC). She's READY to find her forever person, or even a new foster. She's not picky, she'd just really like to leave shelter life in her rearview mirror.

Gia is a sweet senior gal who originally came to PACC when she was surrendered for needing medical care. PACC's clinic staff got her all fixed up and she got to recuperate in a wonderful foster home for a bit; now she's looking for her forever home. She walks nicely on leash, enjoys car rides, is house-trained and crate-trained, too. She is an energetic girl and loves to run around the yard and sometimes gets so excited that she jumps up to share her joy with you. She'd likely do better with older children, so that she doesn't accidentally knock anyone over when she gets her fun-filled zoomies. Her recent foster said that she is a generally laid-back loving girl who got along with the other dogs in the home. In play group at PACC, she enjoyed spending time in the yard, mostly keeping to herself. She is currently co-housed with a younger male dog at the shelter, and previously was with a larger dog. She'd do well with either another calm dog (or two), or as your one and only. She really loves soaking up all the love, she's an affectionate girl. She adjusted quickly to using the doggy door and was a lovely guest in her recent temporary foster homes. She is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Bensen is a stately gentleman who arrived at PACC when his owners could no longer keep him. He is looking to put shelter life behind him and find a comfy loving place to call home for all the rest of his days. He is such a happy guy, not much seems to faze him. He enjoys snuggling next to you, he loves smelling all the smells while on walks, and is just a joy to spend time with. He does prefer a home with no small dogs, please. He is available to adopt or foster.

Olive came to PACC when her previous owner was no longer able to keep her. She shares her kennel at the shelter with a dog she enjoys playing with, so a furry friend in her new home is a definite possibility. She'd also enjoy being your one and only. She is a strong gal, so she'll need someone who can handle her strength while working with her to continue improving her leash manners. She LOVES to play and splash in the water, and is reported to just be a lovely girl. As we learn more about her, we will update her info. She is available to adopt or foster.

Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Frosty has headed home!

Frosty, a long-timer at PACC, met her new folks yesterday. They had previously met Gia at PACC earlier in the week and came out to Tucson Rescue Now on Friday intending to adopt her. However, when we shared with them how very physically active Gia is with her zoomies in our play yard, there were concerns that she might physically be a bit much for this lovely couple. Frosty, while no slouch in the energy department herself, doesn't tend to jump up on people when she gets excited. After seeing some Gia video in the play yard they agreed that they didn't have the right home environment for Gia to properly thrive. They went home to think about Frosty yesterday and returned today!

There are a lot of unknowns with Frosty, so we are hopeful that all will go well and that she will pick up the house rules quickly so that she gets to stay with them for all of her days. Frosty is a smart senior gal, and very treat motivated, so both of those will undoubtedly serve her well with her new people. We are wishing them all the very best and are truly hopeful that this adoption "sticks!"

Frosty, please be a very good girl and enjoy your time out of the shelter and in your new home!

Frosty is dog # 625 through TRN's doors to be adopted!

Little Ivy, the formerly un-named senior gal from the recent hoarding case, has gone to a wonderful local rescue. Per PACC's policy, please do not ask which rescue, as we are not at liberty to share that information. It turns out she has an issue with at least one of her eyes and will be needing some medical attention.

She spent a relaxing day at the store, eating food, taking naps and getting lots of love from our volunteers. Then she got into her carrier with the rescue person and she is off to a very new and improved life! We agree that she is likely in the double digits for age and not just 8 years old. She will get the care she needs and we hope they help her to find a loving new forever home so she can heal from the scars of her past and build happy new memories with a new person/family.

Congrats little one, you hit the jackpot! The first pic was shortly after going to her temporary spot after leaving the store today. Just look at that smile! Quite the difference from the second pic, which was her intake picture at PACC!
