Angus originally arrived at PACC 10 years ago as a very young puppy. Sadly, he has found himself back at the shelter after all these years. He's understandably confused and he'd really love to find a nice quiet place to call home so he can say good bye to PACC for good this time. He came to the shelter after he and a couple of dog friends were abandoned at a vacant property. While he is currently co-housed with a much younger female about his size, his history in play group at the shelter has been that is not a fan of overly forward dogs and sometimes overcorrects when he lets them know how he feels. A calm dog pal might be nice for him, or simply being your one and only could also work just fine. He is a skinny medium-sized guy who could stand to gain a few pounds, and he really loves treats. While he doesn't currently show much interest in toys, he does have a fun personality and is a very friendly guy--if a bit on the nervous side with new situations. He really likes people! He is available to adopt or foster.

Madonna is now back at PACC and would LOVE to find a new foster or forever home!

Info from her loving foster:
• Gentle sweet potato
• House Broken/Potty trained - does not use crate
• Big couch potato but also likes to hike/camp
• Always wagging
• Loves every human no exceptions
• NO limit to how long she will snuggle
• Does not jump, very well behaved
• Good listener, good recall when off leash
• Good with the respectful kids she has met
• Cats unknown

She has met a few dogs recently and seems to prefer to remain an only dog in the home. She's got a lot of love to give, and she'd like to share it with her new human(s)!

Charlotte & Beverly were brought to the shelter when their finders witnessed someone dumping them in the desert from their vehicle. Charlotte appears to be a bit older than Beverly, and she is blind. Beverly acts as her seeing eye dog, and we would REALLY like to do all we can to help keep these two sweet senior ladies together. In their play group evaluation at PACC, they said that Beverly was easy to leash and walk, mostly kept to herself and was people oriented. Charlotte also walks well on leash and was easy going while in the yard. Thanks to one of the TOP Dogs founders (a wonderful group of certified trainers who volunteer with PACC), Charlotte has a free blind dog training package to help her acclimate to her new foster or forever home.

We don't know what their previous like was like, but we can help make sure that their future is full of love and caring! They are available to adopt or foster, AS A PAIR.

Firefly arrived to PACC pregnant and scared. She came from an environment where the dogs were kept outside without adequate food, water and shelter. She was understandably fearful of people, and after months at the shelter, she is learning that humans can be loving and caring. She now seems to enjoy spending time with people who give her the space to feel safe and open up as she is comfortable. She will need a patient adoptive or foster home. She has done well with kennelmates during her time at the shelter, and was in a foster home that had a smaller dog and a bird and she was fine with both. Having a confident dog pal to learn from would be ideal for this young girl. There is no info on how she is with children or cats, and she did hide under a bed and growl/bark when she was stressed in her foster home. She will need a quiet and safe place to decompress, and while in foster, she liked the safe spot of being in a crate. They were working on housetraining, so using a crate to help with that is an ideal way to help speed that process along in her new home. As we learn more about her, we will update her info. She is available to adopt or foster.

Sasha arrived as a stray, so we don't know much about her life before she came to PACC. In play group at the shelter, she prefers low energy dogs and was said to be easy-going with them. She was not a fan of very forward or overly friendly/playful dogs, mostly keeping to herself and was people oriented. She might do best as an only dog, but we are always happy to do a meet and greet with a potential pal. She is easy to handle and walks well on leash, but she can put her weight behind it if she wants to pull you in a specific direction. She needs a strong handler. She doesn't seem too impressed with toys currently, but that can change over time. She definitely enjoys sitting next to her favorite person and getting some cuddle time in, and belly rubs are a MUST. She is available to adopt or foster.

Lester came into PACC as a stray. He is a BIG guy and was described by shelter staff as being a gentle giant. He enjoys cooling off in the pools in the play yards at PACC on these hot summer days. He is a pretty nervous guy, but he enjoys being with his person/people a whole lot. Walks make him nervous, because it is a big scary world out there, and being in a kennel is scary, too. But when you take the time to sit with him and give him some attention, he just melts into you. He will play with a tennis ball once in a while, and is starting to discover toys. He is available to adopt or foster.

No surprise here, but Equinox was finally adopted today (Wednesday) at PACC! Such a cutie! It took four days, but by the end of her week with us at TRN, she was playing with one of our volunteers. She was having such a good time. We will miss her, and we hope her new person/family will treat her like the princess she is! She will be headed home from PACC after she is spayed.

Equinox (hopefully she'll be getting a new name, too!) is dog # 660 through TRN's doors to be adopted!
