We hope your holiday was as magical as the dream that was just granted for Dream child, Marcus! His dream was to meet Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. A limo ride took him and his family to and from the arena where they got to watch the warm-up session from floor seats. He met Devin Booker and attended the game with amazing seats. Additionally, he and his family will attend three more games that Marcus chose. Thank you Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns for helping make this young man’s dream come true!

We are thankful for all the amazing people we’ve granted dreams for and those who have made the dreams come true. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

What we love the most about today is the focus on gratitude and great people. Through the trials and tribulations of everyday life, it can become difficult to see the good things and even better people in our lives. Today is a wonderful reminder to stop to smell the roses, and while you are there maybe give someone else their flowers while they can still appreciate them. It can make a world of difference. Happy Thanksgiving!

Quadruple major!? Now a Rhodes Scholar?! This man is phenomenal. Proud to have him as our Dream Factory family. Nathaniel was granted a dream in 2012 to go to New York, where he got to attend a Broadway show and even visit Good Morning America! We can't wait to see what's next!

Congrats to 2023 Rhodes Scholar Nathaniel Ross, a attending Arizona State University, who is one of 32 Americans selected by Rhodes Trust for the prestigious international scholarship. Ross, a disability-rights advocate, will study comparative social policy at University of Oxford next year. This is the fourth Flinn Scholar to be named a Rhodes Scholar and the first since 1998. https://bit.ly/3E7BqGH

Our Story

In 1980, The Dream Factory began with one all-volunteer chapter in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Since then, The Dream Factory has grown into the largest all-volunteer children’s wish-granting organization in the United States, all while maintaining a grassroots approach. The Dream Factory continues to operate all 35 of its local chapters with very dedicated volunteers. These hard-working individuals raise funds within their own communities and then use those funds to grant the dreams of local children. Because we do not employ people on a local level, 90-percent of all money raised by The Dream Factory is used to grant the dreams of critically and chronically ill children. This record of success has been recognized by Charity Navigator when they ranked the Dream Factory as a four-star charity, Their highest rating. Charity Navigator is the largest and most utilized evaluator of charities.

The Dream Factory is the largest children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness. The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional and physical pain. We strive to provide hope and relief from the trauma and corresponding stress and depression that both the children and their families can endure on a day-to-day basis. Doctors agree that providing a dream can improve the quality of life for these children and extend the life of a critically ill child. Dream Factory is a non-profit, 501c3 organization.
