A huge thank you to YWCA Southern Arizona, Assured Imaging, Arizona Complete Health, and everyone who helped make this event such a success! 💗

We were honored to be invited to table at the Mammograms Made Easy Health Fair and connect with so many amazing community members while sharing resources about mental health, support, and hope.

Events like these remind us how important it is to care for our whole health—both physical and mental—and how powerful community partnerships can be in making wellness accessible for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared their stories, asked questions, and learned more about the programs and support available through NAMI Southern Arizona.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to prioritize health, education, and connection. 💚

There’s still a lot of noise (and outdated takes) around mental health—so let’s clear some of it up for Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Myths like “therapy is only for crisis moments” or “talking about su***de puts the idea in someone’s head” don’t just miss the mark—they keep stigma alive and people stuck in silence.

Here’s what actually matters:
Talking about mental health helps more than it harms.
Support doesn’t have to be dramatic to be life-changing.
And getting help is a sign you’re paying attention to yourself—not failing at anything.

Your honesty can interrupt someone else’s isolation.
Your story can make care feel more reachable.
And your willingness to speak up might be the thing that helps someone else finally do the same.

Drop a 💚 or a reminder you want someone to know today, if they see this post.

Sometimes mental health struggles don’t look dramatic from the outside. They can look like exhaustion, isolation, irritability, loss of motivation, anxiety, or simply trying to “push through” every day alone.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind our community that needing support is human — and reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💚

Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, or burnout, you do not have to go through it alone.

NAMI Southern Arizona provides support, education, and community resources for individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges.
