🎉 WHAT A FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR! 🎉

Thanks to our amazing community, volunteers, and donors, GVR has been hard at work making a real difference. Take a look at what we’ve accomplished together so far this year:

🍎 166,726 lbs of food distributed (that’s over 83 TONS!)

👕 14,600 adult & children’s clothing items, shoes, and gear

🧼 13,000 personal hygiene items, baby essentials, pet food, & household goods

🚿 215 hot showers provided to our unhoused neighbors—along with 725 clothing items and 810 hygiene essentials!

Every single number represents a neighbor helped, a meal provided, and a bit of relief shared. We couldn't do this without YOU.

The Mobile Shower Unit recently served at Reid Park where we provided showers to 31 unhoused individuals.
We had the honor of serving alongside a recovery group who passed out food and drinks while we provided the showers, hygiene items and clothing.
It was a great day, getting to meet new people and seeing the smiles on the faces of those we served!
Now that we have the kinks worked out, we will be reaching out to the community and schedule more outings.

A huge THANK YOU to the Sierra Vista Community Theater for their generous donation of feminine and adult hygiene products, towels, washcloths, and shower shoes! ❤️

These much-needed items will directly benefit the God’s Vast Resources Mobile Shower Unit, helping us provide dignity, comfort, and care to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

A special thank you to Kay Piorot for transporting these wonderful donations all the way to Tucson. We are so grateful for your kindness and continued support!

God's Vast Resources celebrated the launch of a new mobile shower unit May 7, giving unhoused Tucson residents access to free showers, funded by a UnitedHealthCare community grant.

Huge shoutout to the Tucson Church of Christ Young Professionals group! 🙌 🐾
They showed up with amazing energy and managed to bag an incredible amount of dog food for our community.
Because of your hard work, many local pups are going to bed with full bellies tonight. We are so grateful for your hearts for service and for spending your Saturday making a difference right here in Tucson. 🌵☀️
