Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to order our limited edition Halloween t-shirt!

I will place the order for the already purchased shirts 9/1. It will take approximately 2 weeks for production and then I will start sending them out to you.

These shirts won't be back so make sure you grab one and help us get into a new home!

This spooky season, we’re asking our community to help us find a home for One Small Act.

We’ve created a limited-edition Halloween shirt featuring our adorable little ghost, Boo, spreading some love. But this shirt is about more than looking cute for spooky season.

Every purchase helps us work toward securing a new location for OSA.

A place where we can pack meals.
A place where neighbors can gather.
A place where community can grow.
A place where everyone knows they belong.

We’ve had a few doors close, but we’re still knocking. We know the right one is out there — and we’re going to keep looking.

Now serving 30 families per week!

The submission form for our weekly Meal In A Bag program is now open.

The submissions are first come, first serve. The form will be unavailable once our limit for the week has been reached. If you are unable to get this week's meal, you can try every Sunday at noon. We will post as we are able to add more households to the program.

Every bag has all of the non perishable food items to make a meal along with a recipe card with easy to follow directions.

Here's how it works:

➡️ You must live in Miami County
➡️ One meal per household per week
➡️ Contactless Delivery
➡️ You must fill out the sign up form to receive delivery
➡️ Meals are rotated depending on availability
➡️ Some items may be substituted due to availability

Please read the instructions on the submission form before filling it out. Multiple submissions to the same household could result in deletion of the submission. Please double check numerics, addresses and apartment numbers.

This is not a solution to the problem.

Making it a misdemeanor for someone to sleep in a doorway—or criminalizing people simply because they have nowhere else to go—doesn’t solve homelessness. It doesn’t create affordable housing. It doesn’t make healthcare more accessible. It doesn’t provide mental health or addiction services. It doesn’t help someone find a job, replace a lost income, or rebuild their life.

It simply moves people along and makes an already difficult situation even harder.

And before we tell ourselves, “That could never be me,” remember that many of us are only a lost job, a major medical emergency, a family crisis, or one unexpected expense away from facing circumstances we never imagined.

This is about more than homelessness. It’s about what kind of community we want to be.

Our community needs to show up.

City Council will be meeting this Monday, August 31 at 6:00 PM at City Hall.

You don’t have to speak. You don’t have to give a speech. You don’t have to know exactly what to say.

Just showing up matters.

When we fill the room, we demonstrate that the voices of marginalized and vulnerable members of our community matter—and that decisions affecting them should not be made without the community paying attention.

If you are able, please come Monday night. Bring a friend. Sit in the room. Listen. Be present.

Because sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply show up for one another.

All meals have officially been delivered for this week!

Our FREE weekly meal sign-up opens every Sunday at NOON!

Meals are shelf-stable, delivered contactless, and available to any Miami County resident — no income requirements, no questions asked.

Be sure to keep an eye on our page every Sunday starting at noon to grab a spot for the upcoming week!

Just a reminder, that I'm currently out of town on vacation.

While I'm gone, Andrea is holding down the fort. She will be happy to assist you in any way she can. Although, I will be back in town at the end of the week my vacation will continue through 8/30.

They are asking community members to fill out a survey so they can help identify the needs of Miami County residents.
