The Rotary Club of Steubenville, chartered in 1921 is a proud part of this community and Rotary International.

We are part of a global network of more than 1.2 million members that are represented by community and business leaders. Club Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at Noon. We meet at the Jeffco Center, 256 John Scott Hwy, Steubenville

Members learned about many vaccines from JC Health Commisioner Andrew Henry. Discussed were Flu, Shingles, Measles, RSV and Pneumonia. There are many Flu Shot Clinics scheduled throughout the county.

Great meeting today with a presentation by Andrew Sharples as he discussed the building and opening of the OYO brewery in downtown Steubenville.

Dr. Todd Phillipson provided a great program today on one of our local high schools, Steubenville Catholic Central. We learned how different it was to attend there as a student himself and then serve as principal today. Today, students participate in many academic and sports programs in a Catholic environment .

Joining us Wednesday, August 5th was Jess Kelley of Northwest Title. Members learned about title searches when buying a home, title insurance, and many of the scenarios people found themselves years later after purchasing a home or land.

President Lorrie also announced we were awarded a District Grant of $1000 to purchase the Four Way Test Books to be given to 2nd graders

A great Rotary program presented by Mike Zinno, superintendent of the Jefferson County Board of Disabilities. We learned about the proposed Community Playground that will be built for children at the Jim Woods Park. All of the equipment would be handicapped accessible. Fundraising is already ongoing for the $2 million playground
