Indian Creek Foundation The Indian Creek Foundation is the 501(c)(3) non-profit entity for ICLSD, providing scholarships and educational support to students.

The Indian Creek Foundation is the 501c non-profit for ICLSD of Jefferson County Ohio. It has provided thousands of dollars of scholarships to Creek graduates and has helped to fund educational opportunities for Creek students. It is the parent entity for the Indian Creek Alumni Association.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the Indian Creek Foundation Reverse Raffle such a tremendous success!

To our generous sponsors, thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future. Your support continues to make a lasting difference. IC Foundation Reverse Raffle Slated for April 10

MINGO JUNCTION-The Indian Creek Foundation is planning its main moneymaker with the annual reverse raffle slated for April 10.

Festivities are set with a cash bar at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. at the Mingo Junction Knights of Columbus Hall. Indian Creek Superintendent Dr. T.C. Chappelear said only 250 tickets will be sold for $60 each and costs include dinner and a chance to win the $2,500 raffle prize, plus more events will be held throughout the evening with Chinese auctions and various raffles.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” he said. “I always think it’s a great opportunity for members of our community to support the Indian Creek Foundation, which in turn supports the kids of Indian Creek.”

The event, which has been held for more than two decades, has raised between $10,000 to $11,000 each year to support an array of school-related causes. Proceeds have been used for STEM learning, such as drones and 3-D printers, as well as to send students to academic camps and the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership program. Funds have also aided the Indian Creek High School’s hellbender pilot program by helping to acquire the tank for its ambassador, Chief, and purchased the digital signage for the campus.

Sponsorships are also available for $250 and donors will have their name displayed during the event, plus they will receive a raffle ticket with a plus-one for dinner. Currently, sponsors include H.E. Neumann Company, Softite Community Federal Credit Union, BKY Financial, Water Transport, Elite Physical Therapy and Fitness Center, Mr. Key Locksmith Shop, Milestone Benefits Agency Inc., Southwest Security, NorthEastern Utilities LLC. Meanwhile, the Mingo Knights of Columbus is providing the venue with Ohio Valley Clothing creating T-shirts for foundation members and Paul Deardo Graphics donating the tickets.
