🎳 Ready to hit the lanes? Join for Adaptive Bowling at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township!

Our adaptive bowling program is designed for individuals of all abilities, and no prior bowling experience is needed.

Equipment will be available to help make bowling accessible, safe, and fun.

📍 Imperial Lanes, Clinton Township
🎳 $12 per bowler, including two games and shoe rental

The $12 fee is paid directly to the bowling alley on the day of the event. Please do not pay online.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! 💼

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the skills and contributions people with disabilities bring to workplaces, communities, and our economy.

At DNEM, we know that people with disabilities have valuable talents, perspectives, and skills to contribute. NDEAM is an opportunity to celebrate those contributions while continuing to increase access to meaningful employment opportunities.

🎨 Get creative with ! Our Troy Art Class offers six sessions filled with opportunities to create, explore, and have fun.

Participants will try a variety of art forms, including pottery, painting, and pastels. No previous art experience is needed, and adaptive equipment and modifications will be available to support participants of all abilities.

🎨 Create art, have fun, and support RecConnect!

Join DNEM for a special Art with Impact class at our Lapeer Office. Participants will be guided through an art project that will be donated for consideration in our annual Art from the Heart fundraiser.

If the piece is selected, the artist will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the event. If their artwork sells, they will receive half of the proceeds.

• Does it still work when the text is twice as big?
• Can they use it with the sound off?

If yes to all, you're in good shape. If even one is no, you've built something that leaves real customers out.

Join us for a fun 6-week program where participants will learn and practice Christmas songs in American Sign Language while working on expression, movement and performance skills. No ASL experience is needed. Beginners and experienced signers are welcome!
